I had a hygienist appointment at this dental surgery and for the first time in my life, I wasn’t scared. I didn’t feel any discomfort at all during the treatment, which honestly felt unbelievable to me. I’ve always been extremely anxious about visiting the dentist due to a bad experience many years ago, long before I joined this practice. That fear stayed with me for years. But from the moment I walked in, I felt reassured and cared for. The hygienist was so gentle, patient, and understanding, constantly making sure I was comfortable. This is genuinely the first time I can say I’m actually looking forward to coming back to see the hygienist. That’s something I never thought I would say! Thank you for completely changing my experience and restoring my confidence in dental visits. Thank you Shanaka Nilanka 🙂

Having never had dentistry work of this level before, I was very nervous of undertaking an implant procedure. Through the whole process though, Mahesh and Sukanya guided me and kept me up to date with what was happening. They are both very friendly and made me at ease throughout. Mahesh explained everything at every stage and made the whole procedure as easy to follow and straightforward as possible.

After a highly successful implant back in January I had the misfortune to damage the exact same tooth on the other side of my mouth, so once again I trusted myself to Mahesh’s care, who along with his excellent (and very calming) nurse Sukanya, eased me through the whole process for the second time in a year! As per my last review, I have a dentist phobia from childhood trauma, but from start to finish the process was pain free and great care was taken to make sure I was comfortable at all appointments, including the extraction phase. My thanks go out to them both, and at least for the immediate future I hope to now only see them at my annual implant check ups, rather than due to anymore mishaps. Thank you again, and for those interested I thoroughly recommend Smiles for all your dentistry needs.

My children attend The Smiles studio. It is such a lovely place and very clean. A big shout out to Balpreet who is amazing with my kids. My son had a filling today and because of how Balpreet made him feel comfortable and included his feedback was "I am no longer scared of the dentist". Thank you Balpreet and the entire team. I’ve been having treatment done and today I was in for my Implant operation. I was incredibly nervous but I have to say it was fine it was actually less uncomfortable than some of the other work I have had done. Dr Mahesh Nagpal was great and put me at ease with what was about to happen, and making sure I was ok. Overall so far the treatment and communication I’ve had done, and the results I’ve seen are fantastic. I would highly recommend Smiles Dental surgery all the staff have been great.

Amazing dentists! So good with the children too and always makes them feel comfortable. Also great with me offering fantastic NHS services. I can’t recommend enough. Thank you x

Lovely staff and whilst still anxious about dental treatment and visiting the hygienist, she is kind and reassuring. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has anxiety around dental care. The compassion and empathy is strong with all the staff.
