Whitburn Dental Centre

I joined Whitburn dental centre in January 2025 when I met Melina for a check up. The receptionists were very welcoming, and dentist Melina was very professional. During the check-up, I asked Melina if she there was any treatment available to help remove or blend in the fluorosis on my front teeth. She offered me a private cosmetic non-invasive treatment that is not routinely performed here. Melina went above and beyond to make this treatment happen, and explained the procedure in detail before beginning, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The results are fabulous! I was blown away she managed to remove the white spots completely. This is something I have asked multiple dentists over my lifetime and have always been told the only way to remove this is by invasive bonding or veneers! I want to say a massive thank you to Melina and all staff involved. You have gave me my dream natural smile - just in time for my wedding! 🙂

Just joined the practice as extremely nervous but my dentist Nik was amazing and realised how anxious I was & made me feel at ease and the wee dental nurse Ali or Ellie was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have done anymore to help me feel relaxed and just so friendly. She helped me book all my appointments and is an absolute credit to the practice. So glad I changed to this practice.

Been going to this practise for nearly 30 years and it's always excellent. The staff are professional, polite and easy to talk to. Mrs Bell is fantastic and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Karen and Melika are the dentists I've had at this establishment. They are great at putting the patient at ease. Karen is my usual dentist and she's very understanding of my mental health issues. Apart from that she's an excellent dental surgeon. Melika is new to me so I can't really offer any opinion as yet but so far my experience with her is positive. The only negative about the place is the attitude of the receptionist yesterday. She was rather curt, which I didn't appreciate. I don't always pick up on social cues but I got a negative vibe from her, so asked my son, who accompanied me, and he confirmed that she'd been rude. I think she heard us discussing her because when I handed in my updated medical form she was as nice as pie.

Ive been coming here for years now and have found karen easy to talk to and she has done a great job of my very large filling today. Thanks to her assistant who was with me also.

Had a wisdom tooth extracted and it was done quickly and painlessly. Karen put me at ease and talked me through each step the procedure. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The team at Whitburn Dental Care are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and they really put you at ease. The dentist was gentle and explained everything clearly. The practice is clean, modern, and you always feel well looked after. Highly recommend.
