I’ve been a patient at this practice for years and want to say a huge thank you to Claire. During my pregnancy I was really paranoid about my teeth due to morning sickness, and she was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely caring. She always puts me at ease, takes time to explain everything, and I fully trust her clinical decisions. I can’t recommend her enough!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Whitburn Cosmetic Dental Practice – Disappointing, Rushed, and Impersonal Experience I regret to say my recent visit was extremely underwhelming. The entire experience felt like a conveyor-belt operation – fast, impersonal, and lacking basic courtesy or patient care. There was no personalised attention, no explanation of procedures, and absolutely no effort to communicate clearly. When I enquired about teeth whitening options, I was simply told to book a hygienist appointment – with zero details, no consultation, and no explanation of the available treatments or costs. This was especially disappointing as I was looking for clarity, not just to be passed along. The dentist (Holly) seemed in a rush from start to finish, which made the whole experience feel transactional and dismissive. Even basic things like giving a sticker to a child were forgotten – only handed out after the child asked for it themselves. Overall, the visit left us feeling like numbers on a list rather than valued patients. If you're looking for a practice that takes time to listen, explain, and treat you with care, I would advise looking elsewhere. Alison is really gifted in what she does she’s made me smile again after getting composite bonding. The full team are great 🙂

Always receive 5 star service. Alison has been my dentist since childhood and always makes me feel at ease. I recently had emergency dental treatment with one of the other dentists within the practice and really happy to say he was great, brilliant communication throughout the treatment and very knowledgeable information given.

Before coming to this dentist I was afraid but I've never felt more comfortable in my life. Every member of this practice are amazing with my needs. They kept me calm and always smile with their jokes. If u have any worries or doubts u shouldn't. In my honestly the best place in Scotland without a doubt

Been with this dentist for years now and never had a problem. Have fears of the dentist and always been made to feel comfortable and calm. Genuinely forgot I had an appointment today as this had taken so long for them to book me in, I had another appointment elsewhere that was important and forgot to call in to cancel. Now they want to charge me, ridiculous when every appointment I have had in the last 2 months they have made me stand outside for anything up to 45 minutes after my appointment was due. It’s ok for them to be late every time but when you miss one appointment they want £20. Terrible

Been up with toothache all weekend called this morning to book an appointment to be informed that I owed£20 for missing an appointment last year which I have no recording about , but I said I will pay it no problem. The lady proceeded to get card payment before she can book an appointment , which I felt was outrageous as I told her I would pay when I came in as I don't trust banks . To which she replied she can't book me an appointment until she receives payment 🙄 unbelievable, maybe I should send an invoice for waiting up to 50 minutes at a time on several occasions in their waiting room I will defo be looking for another dentist AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS
