Tyneview Dental Practice

3.4

Tyneview Dental Practice in Newcastle upon Tyne offers a range of dental services, including Invisalign treatments. While some patients report positive experiences with certain staff members, highlighting professionalism and politeness, others have encountered issues with rudeness and lack of empathy from both receptionists and dentists. The quality of service appears to vary significantly among staff.

Despite some commendable efforts, such as gentle and effective deep root scaling, there are concerns about inconsistent service quality and poor communication. Potential patients should be aware of these mixed reviews when considering Tyneview Dental Practice for their dental care needs.

Have nothing to say but how PATHETIC AND CARELESS THEY ARE Do not like this place very rude and selfish, my child had an appoinment at 4:50 was 4mins late got checked in i waited with my child for 8mins just be told i have to re arrange my childs appointment because the actual dentist needs to pick her kids up. I also was told it was my both daughters appointment i only received a txt for one child. Anyway even if i did bring my both kids to the appointment she wouldn't of got done in 5mins as it wasnt just a routine check. Have nothing to say but how PATHETIC AND CARELESS THEY ARE

My elderly mother recently had a TERRIBLE experience here and came home appalled by what she witnessed here. She came in for a check up for her partial denture and some teeth that might’ve needed work, they removed the teeth and offered a denture but didn’t adjust the already existing denture and never followed up about making a new denture for the missing teeth like promised, leaving her embarrassed to show her teeth in public and even around the family. This has all around ruined her mental health. While she was here, she also witnessed shocking behaviour from the dentist (Gaigandeep) who was berating her nurse the entire appointment with various insults. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour and it’s safe to say we are never returning again.

Worst dentist I have ever been to. Dentist was beyond rude and lied about what services they provide under the NHS when exempt due to having a baby. I have never been spoken to so poorly by a health care professional. It was an hour round trip for me to attend the appointment, for a 5 minute consultation with a rude, abrupt, ill mannered dentist.

The receptionist is very rude. She lacks empathy, which is an essential quality of someone in health sector. I was there a couple of weeks ago after tooth extraction, and I was told to pay £27.40 by the receptionist, which i did. This payment means I could go back for review after the first appointment. The dentist that attended to me just asked me to open my mouth and later prescribed amoxicillin and asked me to come back if the swollen persist, which I did after 2 weeks; only for the receptionist to request I pay again, because the 1st appointment emergency note was closed. Despite telling her that my coming back was because the Dentist asked me if my cheek swells again.

Joined the practice a good few months ago now and the young girl I see and her dental nurse are extremely professional and very polite and we also have a bit of a laugh. A credit to your practice

This is from Lisa foster, just like to post and say I have always detested and put off having deep root scale and polishes here, come out always in pain of the past and sit wincing in chair off hygienists who have done it, my daughter recently had one off Olaf, she said how good and nice he was and didn’t hurt, went in him and his lovely assistant so friendly had good vibes straight away, gota say please keep him and his lovely assistant best deep root scale I have had done from any previous hygienist, Olaf blows all others out the water 👍 Lisa foster

Hadn't been to dentist in a few good years just always had a phobia. But the staff and dentists made me feel so at ease and relaxed. Brilliant dentists.
