First time with this dentist and I am very pleased with Savneet and Michiel's kind and friendly treatment for my family. My wife had a tooth extracted, Michiel did a brilliant job, no problems. Yes people saying the building is a bit old but it's clean and fit for purpose. It's all down to the staff which is to a good standard. Highly recommended.

One of the best dentists I've ever been with. Appointments are always easy to make and are usually within a week or two. Emergency appointments are often available the day after. Dentists are very easy to talk to you and actually listen to any concerns.

I met with Wisam and Alex Fatima from your team, and I had a truly positive and reassuring experience. Four years ago, I had a very bad experience at the dentist, which left me feeling extremely anxious about dental treatment. Thanks to their care and professionalism, many of my fears have now improved. I still feel a little nervous, but overall I feel much more comfortable, supported, and understood. They were especially professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly regarding my treatment. They are truly a special pearl in your dental office, and I am very grateful for the kindness and support they showed me.

I took time off work to attend an appointment. I got there, paid and was told to come back. I asked for the time to be sent to me via text message but didn't get any notice of appointment which I found really disheartening. Because that's the second time I will be requesting to get a notification of appointment and not getting any thing sent to my phone.What I heard the receptionist say was 12.55 but she said she gave me a 12.15 appointment and she expected me to have put that in my calendar despite me asking for a notification. I had to go back home and when I got back, I was told I had missed my appointment due to wrong timing and the payment I made was gone because I wasted the staff time. There was no sympathy whatsoever to my plight and no apologies for not sending me a notification.

We moved to the area about 6 months ago and I’ve been trying to find an NHS dentist for my three children, which has been very difficult as I manage everything on my own. I booked a Saturday appointment, but unfortunately my 6-year-old became unwell with diarrhoea the day before — something that was sudden and could not be predicted. I emailed the clinic late on Friday night (23:55) to inform them. I was up all night caring for my child and only managed to sleep around 6am, so I missed their call the next morning. The practice was closed on Sunday, and when I called on Monday I was told we had been removed from the list due to the 24-hour cancellation policy. I understand policies are in place, but this was due to genuine illness in a child, and I did inform the clinic before the appointment. I feel this situation was handled very strictly, especially as this was our first appointment. A bit more understanding and flexibility would have been appreciated. This has made accessing NHS dental care even more difficult for my family.

I came in for emergency wisdom tooth pain and ended up wasting 3 weeks and a lot of money over 3 appointments. At my final appointment (for extraction), I became extremely distressed due to very big fear of needles. The dentist couldn’t proceed and sent me home with no explanation, no next steps, and no alternative options offered. No one told me what I should do next or where I should go for treatment. I was escorted to reception, where they refunded £150 out of my £225 deposit and kept £75 without explaining. I then asked at reception what I should do next and I was told they would send me an email, but I never received any. I left crying whole day. Very unprofessional and Im extremely dissapointed. I was left in pain with no support

My first time at Derby City Dental Care, after my local dentist decided to go private.No NHS patients. I got in at Derby City Dental Care within around 9 days as an NHS patient. The 2 ladies on reception were polite, and smiling, and very courteous I filled in the medical form, and was seen with several minutes of arriving. The dentist was polite, and she gave me a list of options.No pressure to opt for a particular method.It was my choice, and the dentist respected my decision. I have another appointment in 2 weeks So far, so good, and a highly recommended dental suite.
