I have been a patient with this Dental practice for around 3 years and since the first consultation with their office coordinator - i felt reassured that I will be taken care of. I can be anxious when it comes to anything medical so their reassurance that they have experience with anxious patients made me feel at ease. My dental surgeon since my first day is Dr Yathesa who is very skilled, professional, kind and overall great dental surgeon who will answer any questions and explain all processes. I read horror stories (as you do) about root canals but I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort when he was performing it. Staff at their practice from receptionist to nurses to doctors are nice and professional so I recommend their practice to everyone.

I recently had some challenges with my teeth and was feeling quite self conscious about my smile. From the very beginning, the team at New Street Dental Care were supportive, understanding and professional throughout. I first met with Hollie, who really helped me understand the issues I was facing and talked me through the options in a calm and reassuring way. Her support made a big difference and gave me confidence moving forward. Yathesa then carried out the treatment and I’m genuinely delighted with the results. I now have a consistent, natural looking white smile again, which has made a huge difference to my confidence. The care, attention to detail and professionalism from the whole team were excellent. James has been our dentist for the past 10 years including years at his former dental practice. James's work is always of the highest standard and he outlines clearly what remedial work is necessary using photographs and an estimate of cost before he proceeds. I wouldn't say that I am an easy patient to work on as I have a strong gagging reflex but his patience and understanding gives me the trust and reassurance I need. He is always well supported by friendly and very efficient dental assistants. I would also like to mention Lauren the hygienist who is professional and caring and offers sound advice on maintaining good oral hygiene. Many thanks to all the team including the receptionists. I was extremely nervous about visiting a dentist. The whole team at New Street Dental have been amazing. The staff were professional, kind, and handled my nerves with care. As a very nervous patient, I was terrified of moving surgeries when my current service closed. I was recommended the New Street practice by countless friends. I explained my anxiety and what made me nervous and I have now been with Yathesa for over a year. I can't recommend New Street Dental Care highly enough. As an anxious patient with chronic pain from arthritis in my jaw I've found the treatment I've received to be of the highest standard. Fillings, crowns, cleanings and a 3D printed bite guard have all gone smoothly. My dentist, Yathesa, is brilliant. Highly skilled, an excellent communicator and so good at helping me manage any anxiety. The nurses and support staff are all helpful and excellent at what they do too. My teeth have never been in such good condition and I'm so glad I made the move to New Street after losing my NHS dentist.
