Lister House Dental Centre, Harlow

Few weeks late leaving this review, but coming from someone who had a fear of dentists and needles and avoided a dental visit for over 37 years...had to have a tooth removed and feared the worst for no reason. Was totally put at ease by Dr Neal and his assistant Leanne. Was told exactly what was going to happen, how and when, and even an offer to hold my hand through the procedure (thankyou Leanne!) As it turned out, I hardly even noticed the tooth being extracted and just wish I had Dr Neal and Leanne as my dentists when I was 13 then I would have been more than happy having regular dental check ups!! Highly recommend, especially if you are a bit nervous of visiting a dentist

5 star place! Our Dentist Dennis is really great, referred my daughter to Bishops Storftford for the braces and I can’t thank him enough because 2 years on now she’s got beautiful straight teeth. But the STARS of the centre are my amazing duo hygienist LAURA and MAGGIE 😃 I’m visiting them every 3 months due to my implants and I really look forward to every appointment. The smiles of those ladies always brightens the cloudiest day! My daughter goes to them too and finally my husband is convinced to go because he can clearly see the results after each appointment.Laura is a professional at her work , hygienist like her are hard to find and I’m really happy I found her. Both of the ladies are really gentle, professional and have an amazing sense of humour. Thank you Laura for the brilliant work that you do and you Maggie for the hug when I really needed it due to me being a bit down on the day. Keep it up girls and I look forward to see you soon 😃

Could not recommend Dr Lee and her team enough - the first dentist to put me completely at ease and for me to feel completely confident she is doing an amazing job with my teeth. Super kind and reassuring, and has also been amazing with my children - I genuinely could not believe my toddler happily opened her mouth to let Dr Lee have a look at her teeth! The dental nurses very kindly held my baby while I had my appointment, which was so appreciated. Would highly recommend!

I had a root canal, which was followed by Lister House Dental’s crown in a day, this was a great convenient service, where I could go in, get the first treatment for my crown, wait for a few hours and have the crown fitted the same day. It worked really well for me, not having to go back another time and the added maintenance of being careful with the tooth prepared for a crown or needing a temporary crown. The dentist and all the staff were great and very helpful.

Having chipped my front tooth, I booked in quickly to have it fixed. I went in with a jagged mess and came out with perfectly symmetrical front teeth that look brand new. Raj did a brilliant job and I could not be happier. I have been a patient here my entire life and have always been very satisfied with the care provided by the team. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Unprofessional & Unethical Experience – Holding Patient Records I visited this clinic due to severe tooth pain caused by a cap placed after an RCT done abroad. During my visit, they carried out an X-ray and charged separately for it, in addition to the consultation fee. Following this, the doctor recommended a treatment plan costing around £1000. As this was quite expensive, I decided to seek a second opinion from another clinic. To avoid unnecessary duplication and additional cost, I requested a copy of my X-ray report—which I had already paid for. The staff took my email address and assured me it would be shared shortly. However, even after four hours and a follow-up (as my next consultation was approaching), they continued to delay. Eventually, they called back to say they were "too busy" and would only send it the next day. It is extremely disappointing that, simply because I chose to seek a second opinion, they withheld my own medical records. This feels like a deliberate attempt to inconvenience patients and push them into expensive treatments. Such behaviour is unprofessional and raises serious concerns about ethics and patient care. Patients have a right to access their own reports—especially when they have paid for them. Overall, a very poor experience. I would not recommend this clinic.

I was so nervous for my first hygienist appointment but Laura and Maggie were so friendly and reassuring. They spoke to me throughout the whole appointment and made me feel calm and at ease. The fear was all in my head as it did not hurt at all and my teeth felt absolutely amazing after! The procedure was actually quite relaxing! I will be back in 6 months time for my next appointment! Thank you so much ladies 🙂
