Bhandal Dental Practice (Tipton Surgery)

I used to go to this dentist years ago & the dentist was amazing- after the surgery closed I had to go elsewhere- then I had a message to say the Dudley rd surgery had re-opened- because I really liked the dentist & was very thorough I decided to go back - what a mistake!! I just been to the dentist (a new dentist that I have not been to before) when I opened my mouth, he never said one word then said you need a filling? I said how come? I have no pain- he gets me a mirror to look at my tooth- I can’t see what the problem is- so he said I’ll take some X-rays- once they had developed he said can you see it’s slightly darker on this tooth ( but all my teeth looked exactly the same) I said I’m not having a filling now- then he said shall I clean them! I said yes- anyway as they started cleaning them they hit a nerve & stopped. she said I don’t think you need a clean as your teeth are really clean and by us cleaning them it will make them more sensitive- so I paid £27.50 for him to look in my mouth- i complained to the receptionist & said I will never go back **Avoid**

Absolutely brilliant service 🥰. Everyone was so nice. My dentist did a wonderful job and didn't rush eventho I was late. They explained every set to me and gave me advice about me sensitive teeth. 💐

Two wholes in 2 teeth - dentist stated she would create an emergency plan but only referred me for the one to be removed despite knowing they both needed to be taken out. Now have to do the whole process again not to mention having to wait a whole month to get an appointment for an issue she already assessed me for. No wonder there is never any appointments.

Absolutely atrocious dentist! Please refrain from visiting here. I went in for a check up and requested a scale and polish. They did a scale. When I requested a polish, the nurse said my teeth are not stained enough to warrant a polish, and the dentist said that a polish does not exist for a scake and polish, and that it’s just a term. I have never heard such utter rubbish in my life! The dentist then went in to say that he will do it at my next visit. Who does that??? This is utter nonsense! They also told me I need bracket fillings, but I’ve rechecked about this. I do not need bracket fillings. These dentists are just trying to get extra government funding, because I had exemption from paying. it is heinous that such dental practices are allowed to run. They should be struck off! Do not attend this dentist. Ever!

The reception staff are really helpful and kind. They provided great advice over the phone and booked me in for a checkup. Did not have to wait long periods and it was very straight forward. The dentist is also great and clearly advised me how to care for my dental issue after clearing all the tartar. My teeth now feel great just after one week of having my first consultation. They are also covid secure, with various measures to ensure the practice is kept clean.

Yesterday I attended this dentist to have a root canal. I have a huge fear of the dentist but the current dentist and his nurse was amazing! They were so reassuring and helpful. I didn’t feel a thing didn’t even feel the needle! Absolutely gutted that he is moving to another dentist I hope that they find another one just as good as I’d ideally love to come back again!

This surgery is ridiculous, I have had my appointments cancelled multiple times , even 1 hour before the time of the appointment, due to "the dentist being sick" and not being able to reschedule until 2 weeks later. Although I suffered with a tooth abscess and all I needed was a check up and a referral to the Cradley Heath Surgery for the extraction to be performed as they only do check ups, not having the necessary equipment for other types of treatments. I would not recommend.
