The Gables Dental Practice

Honestly, really disappointed with this dental practice. The receptionist looks like they don’t even want to be there no smile, no greeting, just blunt and uninterested. You only get acknowledged once they finally stop talking to each other. I went in with gum pain that had lasted for weeks and a fracture on my back tooth. The dentist told me to just "use a water flosser" and come back in three months, even though I explained I already floss every day and that eating was painful I could only chew on one side. Just as I was leaving, I mentioned again that I had a visible crack on the same tooth, and only then did the dentist decide to have a quick look. That should have been checked properly from the start. Two days later, after buying the water flosser they recommended, the fracture completely chipped off. I wasn’t told anything about the risks or how bad the fracture actually was. Completely unacceptable standard of care. My condition was made worse, and the lack of professionalism was shocking. I strongly advise avoiding this practice.

Came in this morning for a follow up with my partner and what a sorry state behind that desk those 2 they call receptionists walk in to be hit by the smell of fast food and supposedly to be a clinical setting eating on desk on there phones not a care about doing their job which is a crying shame as this practice was once a nice practice me and my partner experienced this on the last appointment we attended. Sometimes i do wonder if they actually have a manager to manage there staff !!!!!

My visit today couldn’t have been better. Reception staff were friendly and polite and my dentist took time to listen and was very helpful and reassuring. Thank you

Phoned up at 9am for an emergency appointment. Receptionist was really lovely and friendly on the phone, got me an appointment for 3 hours later, and updated all my outdated information! I arrived 10 minutes early and didn’t even have time to complete paperwork before I was called through! Had temporary work done as I’m currently pregnant, but they’ve booked me in for when they can do everything needed safely. Really appreciate being seen quickly, and everyone was really friendly.

I have been coming here for treatment and I am always so grateful for the care I receive. The dentist is very knowledgeable, gentle, and always makes sure I am comfortable. He listens carefully, gives good advice, and whenever I have had pain, he has always helped me straight away. His treatments are excellent, and he has a very good hand. I really appreciate all the support and care thank you so much.

If you want to be neglected and not have any treatment in years worth of visits you’ve made here which ruins your life then this is the perfect place for you!

Very unprofessional reception staff and dental nurses gathering together in reception area talking about someone ( I’m assuming another member of staff) Dentist did X-ray and said he would do a clean today then for the dental nurse to say we will do it next time. Obviously wanted to go back into the reception area to gossip, the dentist didn’t have a choice. Really considering cancelling my appointment
