I had a great experience at Smil and would highly recommend Neil and his wonderful team. As a nervous dental patient, Neil and his nursing assistants were incredibly supportive and put me at ease during every visit. My final appointment lasted several hours, which I never thought I’d be able to cope with, but they made the whole experience much easier than I expected and we even finished quicker! I’m really happy with the care I received and would definitely recommend Smil to anyone looking for a reliable, understanding dentist for Invisalign and other dental treatments.

A fantastic dental clinic! Smart and modern with a very impressive use of modern technology and equipment that I’ve not seen used at a dentists before! I was kept well informed in the lead up to and since my appointment and the care, support, advice and welcome I received from all of the staff was excellent. Good parking at the location in Chatham and great signage from the car park to help locate the clinic inside the centre. Dr Underhill was brilliant and made sure that he understood what I was there for, and that I left having had the treatment I needed. I’m pretty comfortable going to the dentist, but if you are a bit nervous (as my kids have been in the past), I think there are are a number of things they’ve done to make their patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. This includes: calming, modern decor; soft lighting; a comfortable waiting area in an informal setting; the staff and dentists wear medical uniforms and ‘scrubs’ that are smart, professional and hygienic, but they are not typical NHS style, so you don’t get that ‘hospital feel’ from the practice, that I know can be unsettling for some people. All in, for a ‘trip to the dentist’ I had a very good experience! Thanks to the team 🙂

I’ve just finished my Invisalign treatment with Neil at Smil Dentist and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Neil and the whole team were really friendly and welcoming, which made every visit comfortable. The treatment itself was smooth — apart from one or two trays that were slightly uncomfortable, it was never painful and any discomfort didn’t last long.
