Wisbech Dental Access Centre

The girl who answers emergency calls is very rude, not empathetic, and clearly has no call center experience. She raises her voice almost shouting, is sarcastic, and honestly, she's very rude. Even though it's an emergency service, she should try to put herself in the shoes of the person on the phone. Someday she might be on the other end of the line requesting emergency service, and she wouldn't like being treated the way she treats people. I don't know if they monitor the quality of these calls or if they just put someone unqualified to answer them, but this girl definitely needs more customer service training and a little more humility and less arrogance.

I spoke to very helpful lady on the phone this morning, and although i was unable to get an appointment she took the time to advise me further on what to do, and answered my questions that I had in relation to my issue. She was very understanding and sympathetic, and although I ended up not getting an appointment it was still very much a positive experience purely through speaking to her. I never got her name unfortunately.

I saw a dentist called Claudia today.she was lovely. I'd had a bad experience with a dentist year's ago.so was worried about going. But she put me at ease and was very helpful and very caring.i didn't even feel her take my tooth out thank you all very much

The dental access centre has recently moved here from Church Mews. Their service is abysmal though. My son has lost so much filling, he saw them at the old place where they put a temporary filling in (2weeks ago) but it’s now come out so yesterday (as he still hasn’t got in with the dentists he is on the waiting list for) he went to see them again and asked for an extraction but was told no, they don’t do that, only temporary stuff until you get to a proper dentist you’re on the books with, so they put in another temp filling but put too much in so he’s now sitting with an offset jaw as he cannot close his mouth properly. They gave him a prescription for antibiotics so he went to get that from a chemist...only to find they haven’t stamped it so it’s invalid! Honestly I do not know why this place exists. I have used dental access centres in other areas and whilst they’ll usually only do one thing, they’ll do their best including extractions! I do hope as this place settles in at the North Cambs hospital site, that they will get their act together.
