Wembley Dental Centre

I just wanted to pop in here quickly to share my recent experience and say how much I appreciate this dental clinic . Dr Sham looks after me and my sons’ smiles and preparation before orthodontist visits and is always patient and very helpful. She always takes the time to answer their questions, including explaining X-rays and why they don’t yet have wisdom teeth. My older son appreciates her honest approach, while my younger one loves asking endless questions and listening to her patient explanations 😊 We truly appreciate the care and support we receive at every visit. I had two fillings replaced today by Jason, one of which was quite deep and very close to the nerve. I was understandably nervous, but he made me feel completely at ease from start to finish. He was very professional, reassuring, and explained everything clearly, which made me feel like I was in very safe and trusted hands. The procedure was much more comfortable than I expected, and I’m really happy with the results. Thank you again

I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. After booking an appointment, I arrived to be told that the dentist had already left after lunch without anyone informing me. I rebooked, but when I finally saw the dentist, he said "I can’t have you on my list" even though the clinic had given me that appointment. He then passed me to his colleague instead. Unfortunately, his colleague (Dr. Shams) was extremely rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me with an attitude, repeatedly blaming me for my dental issues by saying things like "you don’t brush your teeth, it’s your fault, you’ll end up with…". I found this very insulting. I take good care of my oral hygiene, and everyone knows that dental problems are not always because someone doesn’t brush properly. To make things worse, on the second appointment they didn’t provide any treatment at all and just told me I would need to come back again for a third appointment. This was a complete waste of my time. Overall, the experience left me feeling disrespected and embarrassed. Patients deserve professionalism, empathy, and proper communication — not blame, delays, or dismissive behaviour. I would not recommend this clinic based on how I was treated.

Extremely disappointed with the service at Wembley Dental Centre. After explaining that I was having pain in my tooth and ear, Dr. Lai (the owner) dismissed my concerns and said, ‘That’s not my problem.’ I found this response very disrespectful and lacking compassion. When I later called for clarification, Dr. Lai refused to speak with me. This level of customer care from the owner himself is unacceptable. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional and caring dental treatment.

The reception always gives me a time for an appointment and thay told me you came in a wrong time .. not once or twice. And the doctor not professional and rude.

I don’t understand the negative comments on here. I registered my 2 year old daughter and she was seen within 5 days from booking. As a toddler visiting the dentist for the first time, we were all spoken to very kindly and considerately. Receptionist, and other members off staff were very respectful and encouraging towards our child. The dentist herself was very patient with our little one as it was difficult to have toddler sit in one place. Everybody there was wonderful and I have now registered myself. At 40years old, Ive lived in Wembley my whole life, I’ve been to all kinds of clinics in the past including private, nhs, scammers, emergency clinics etc. I delighted a welcoming, professional and honest clinic has opened up so close to my home.
