Pure Dental Health Truro

This was my first visit to the hygienist at Pure Dental and I was a little nervous as previously I would have my gums anaesthetised but with their warm water system I didnt need to. I had some gel applied where there were sensitive points. My next appointment was with Graham for a check up. Six months ago I sat through a 2.5 hour root canal and a month later a second apicoectomy, my first one failed performed by another dentist. I have nothing but the upmost praise for Graham his kindness, making sure I was ok throughout the procedures, his professionalism, I was totally at ease and he made me feel very calm. His dental nurses are also wonderful and very kind. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars, definitely more than a 5 star service from Pure. Phoned late in the afternoon on the 9th for an assessment for my wife in the morning of the 10th but ended up getting the treatment done too! Just incredible, very, very thoughtful and kind staff too. Would like to say a huge thank you to Mark, Alice, Amber and Megan it has meant a lot.

My experience with PURE Dental Health has always been perfect! I have changed from a very nervous patient to one who really doesnt mind going. From my first visit I was greeted by friendly, professional reception staff to my Dentist, Connor who was very patient when he removed a tooth for me! And now my regular visits to Ruth my Hygienist who is amazing. Again, patient and kind. I find explaining what they are actually doing during treatment really helpful. Reception staff rang me after my tooth extraction to see if all OK the next day! Never had that before. Great dental experience from start to finish, thank you.

I get very nervous at the dentist but the receptionist was very welcoming. The dental nurse and dentist were so nice. I felt relaxed and at ease and everything was explained to me thoroughly. I felt very comfortable there and i won't be so apprehensive when i go back for treatment.

Very high standard of dentistry. The initial exam was done with a friendly approach and is the most thorough and well explained (with photos and x-rays) I have ever encountered. The tool kit is modern. The environment is very well maintained with air filtration in all the weighting rooms. And my teeth haven't looked this good since I was 20 after the Saturday morning visit to the hygienist, along with sensible advice to lay off caffeine for half a day to let them settle after cleaning. My child is completing orthodontic treatment here too and reports a more careful approach than before. Accesibility is the only issue, with a steep slope to negotiate to the surgery.

Was pleasantly surprised at the care and attention I received on my first visit for full dental check up! Alan Burgin was very thorough gentle and very experienced! Alan was patient and professional. He didn’t rush me and listened to my concerns and gave good advice! I would definitely recommend this surgery!

As someone who is absolutely petrified of the dentist, I genuinely cannot recommend this practice enough. My first experience was with Connor for a check-up, and I later returned to him for a filling. I was extremely nervous, but both he and his nurse were so kind, informative, and reassuring — they really put me at ease. The injections and drilling are my biggest fears, and I honestly couldn’t believe how little I felt. I then needed an emergency appointment over Christmas for a tooth extraction and was seen by Laura. I was even more anxious as it was a different dentist (and no one wants a tooth out!), but she was absolutely amazing. She talked me through every step, was incredibly patient and caring, and made a very stressful situation so much easier to cope with. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank Laura, Connor, and the whole team enough for helping me through something I find extremely nerve-wracking. Truly outstanding care.
