Venus Dental Totnes Implant Centre

While briefly in Totnes I went to Venus Dental for a one time visit. I wanted an assessment of my needs to compare with my New York doctor's plan. My evaluation has to be based on this one visit. I am 89 years old so I have been to a lot of dentists in my life. Based on this one experience I rate Venus Dental as best ever: proficient, skilled, thoughtful, attentive, gentle. Outstanding.

Outstanding practice. Went in with pain in my tooth and had a root canal. The staff were fabulous and friendly...The Dentist was kind and caring. Im a nervous person and was put at ease straight away. 100% the best Dentist I've ever seen. I highly recommend this practice.

I've had some good dental treatment here, but the dentist let an infected tooth stay in for so long that it gave me a really bad maxillary sinus infection which I'm now having to have a month long course of two types of antibiotics to try and sort out, and might need sinus surgery for. Also, the dentist gave me too many courses of amoxycillin (and also didn't ask if I had had that medication for any other recent health issues, which I had), which means that the ENT specialists now can't identify the bacteria in order to be able to target them, and they are much more like to have developed antibiotic resistance.

I was made to feel comfortable and at home on my first visit to Venus Dental. Kalina pointed out the massage chair - which I LOVED - and the work she and her staff did was excellent. I'm her new customer and I recommend her totally! She made my teeth look lovely, pointed out some things that she'll work on next time and was fun and friendly too.

The dental practice is excellent, Kalina is very professional a lovely friendly caring person and totally understanding if you are nervous, she will immediately put you at ease so you can relax. The staff are lovely and the clinic is beautiful.

Great, phenomenal, super. I was concerned I wouldn't find another dentist as good as my last - with Kalina's team, I feel I have, once more struck gold. Having spent most of last year stuck with an abscess, it was quickly turning into 'one of those years' - a bad one for my teeth. I'd travelled to Nottingham to get an emergency root canal with my previous dentist. This, of course was completed beautifully. However, the infection had taken its toll and I went on to lose chunks off 2 molars. I admit I was nervous - a new dentist! But I asked around, read the reviews etc. so it should have been a no-brainer - still, I was not and could not be sure. Having had the work completed with 100% skill, care and attention from Kalina and her team, I feel really, really good about my teeth once more - thank you guys... x

I have been going to this dentist for a few years, and they have transformed my gums and teeth. I had an emergency with a wisdom tooth today and Dr Kalina squeezed me in. I am an incredibly difficult patient as I have a total phobia or the dentist. Dr Kalina and her team were extremely kind, caring and brilliant. She whipped the tooth out and helped me deal with my anxiety. Although they did have to close the windows as I was making so much noise haha! A bunch of fabulous, kind and talented folk. 10/10
