Back to the dentist after a two-year break – definitely not my favourite place to be! From the moment you walk in, you immediately feel calm thanks to the relaxing atmosphere and the friendly reception team. Once you're in the chair, my dentist explains everything clearly and talks through her recommendations without any pressure at all. She makes you feel comfortable and reassured throughout the appointment. A really positive experience.

Dr. Kinjal Navinchandra was extremely friendly and polite throughout my visit. She explained every step clearly and took the time to go through all available treatment options, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. Very professional and gentle in her approach. Highly recommended.

I always have such great service at this practice since I signed up a few years ago following years of not feeling able to visit the dentist because of pain during routine check ups and not having this taken seriously. On my first appointment all my issues were diagnosed and treated over the next few weeks; I am now pain free and my teeth are in great condition. I give all credit to University Dental and the amazing staff there. The admin / reception team are so courteous and efficient - they manage a lot of demand whilst remaining calm and polite. The dental professionals are also so courteous and kind, great for children, and I always trust I am getting the right advice. They seem to really care for their patients and are truly vocational - no hard sells, just the right treatment at the right time and a lot of good advice. I never feel judged or talked down to, and they are always responsive about any pain or discomfort levels. In the past I have had the team go above and beyond to accommodate my needs and to charge fair and reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend this practice especially for those who don’t like going to the dentist or are anxious about discomfort. We all need to look after our teeth and this is a practice who will manage your anxieties and discomfort with care and compassion.

Very happy I moved dentists. Dr Maria and her colleague were friendly, professional and so good at informing me of everything they were doing and why. She did a great job explaining without any jargon the state of my teeth and what I can do to look after them. I felt very safe and in good hands from start to finish.

Needed extraction for some time. I emailed UDP yesterday & was offered a one off NHS appointment for today. All staff were very gentle, polite & helpful. Tooth removed painlessly. Have now joined NHS waiting list. Fingers crossed for availibility within year So, very grateful

I went to the clinic in unbearable pain from my wisdom tooth extraction, I was in severe pain and agony, and the dentist treated me with such empathy and kindness. They didn’t even insist on a consultation charge, and their main focus was easing my pain. The staff were equally amazing — so welcoming and approachable, even though they were busy with their tasks. They truly felt my pain, stepped into my shoes, and went above and beyond to help me. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team for their compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. It’s rare to find such humanity in today’s fast-paced world.
