Bassett Dental Practice

This was my first time visiting the practice and I was really impressed. I live locally and contacted them with what I suspected was a dental infection, hoping to get an emergency appointment. The reception team were incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient, and managed to fit me in the very same day. I saw Claire, who was absolutely lovely. She was professional, kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. I usually feel quite anxious about going to the dentist, but she immediately put me at ease and made the whole experience much less stressful than I had expected. A big thank you to Claire and the reception team for their excellent care. I will definitely recommend this practice!

I was booked in for a check up and was asked if I had any concerns. I mentioned a small chip which was showing a brown mark on the front of one of my teeth. The dentist had a look and offered to fill it there and then, explained the cost and I agreed to go ahead. The attention to detail was fantastic. I didn't need any numbing and felt absolutely nothing throughout the procedure. I am extremely happy with the result and the fact that I didn't need another appointment was a real bonus. The dentist and her assistant were so careful and professional I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have been going to this dentist practice for 30+ years now and, whilst it has changed/modernised, I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience there. All the staff are helpful, competent and talk/listen to you. My treatment there has always been first rate and I would heartily recommend them to anyone.

As far as having to visit the dentist goes, Bassett Dental Practice is a friendly and relaxed place to be. The staff are all friendly and caring, and make the experience a whole lot easier. My dental hygenist, Gina, introduced me to GBT cleaning today and I can highly recommend it. Slightly more expensive but the results are definitely improved from the standard treatment.

I visited Bassett Dental practice today. I was warmly welcomed at reception. My appointment with Jinal was on time, it was a pleasure seeing her again. She is so personable and friendly, she immediately puts you at ease. I can safely say I feel in very experienced hands with her. I had a buckle filling today. The procedure was completely pain free. I chose not to have an injection. Once again I was delighted with the end result. I Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the practice. I would also highly recommend Lucy who is my hygienist.. Lucy is warm very friendly and is brilliant at her job. She explains everything she’s doing, She just makes the whole experience as enjoyable as possible. I come away with lovely clean sparkling teeth, there’s no better feeling. So a big thank you to the practice. You’re doing a wonderful job.

I had a wonderful experience with the team, particularly Barbara and Gina. The nurses and staff were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and accommodating throughout my visit. The practice itself is modern, comfortable, and inviting. Overall, the service was excellent, and I was very pleased with the care and support I received.

A week ago I had my first hygienist appointment for 20 years. I have very sensitive teeth, the hygienist room and instruments felt like torture to me. A while ago I picked a leaflet about a new way of hygienist treatment. I asked Alex ( my amazing dentist) she recommended I should have a go, and so did her nurse. So I did. I was very nervous. This is when I appreciate the receptionists , I get very anxious before I visit the dentist. They are always kind, understanding, encouraging, never critical, and so visiting the dentist is less daunting. Gina, the hygienist, was very kind, gentle, and explained every stage to me. understood my teeth are sensitive, my anxiety, and rather than working against it worked with it, she seemed to sense when I needed a break. I think that for Gina it must have been frustrating not to be able to do her job "properly" but, the reasons are not her expertise as a hygienist, but having a patient like me, and the fact that I didn't visit an hygienist for such a long time. The difference between the new treatment and the old fashioned one is amazing. I will have it again, and this is a "miracle."
