Portsmouth Dental Care

I recently had a very positive experience at Portsmouth Dental Care (North) and wanted to share my feedback. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. My dentist and the dental nurse were both exceptionally friendly, approachable, and professional throughout the entire appointment. Overall, I’m very pleased with the level of care I received. If I had to suggest anything for improvement, it would only be to maintain this high standard consistently, as it truly makes a difference to patients. Thank you to the team for such a positive experience.

From start to finish, every time I’ve visited the staff are friendly, supportive and accommodating. They have met me halfway with my sensory/communication difficulties in going to the dentist and made sure I’m still comfortable and settled whilst there. For anyone with an autistic or severely anxious friend/family member, this kind team asks no questions and works with you. Couldn’t imagine a better place to go!

Me and my family have been coming here since it opened. Krisanth is the most patient dentist we have ever had. He always explains things fully and puts our minds at ease. My kids don’t mind going to the dentist anymore since we joined here. All staff are friendly and accommodating if an emergency arises.

Lovely clean practice with good accessibility for disabled. Staff were friendly and welcoming but the stand outs were the dentist and dental nurse. Both were patient and so lovely. I felt secure there and am not so afraid for my next appointment.

No issues with the treatment when I'm there. However, getting through to this place on the phone is poor. Long wait times, no indication of how long and I would leave a message for a call back but the last 2 times ive done that, nobody has called back. The annoying IVR message tops it off with quotes such as "we offer modern dentistry" but the experience of calling is more linked to the 90s.

I have been attending this dentist for a few years now. At one point I had a horrendous experience with an incredibly rude and obnoxious female dentist, who mocked me for being on benefits at the time. I made an official complaint and I felt the apology I received from her was mostly just excuses. That being said, the manager dealt with the complaint very well and is lovely. They changed my dentist and I now have a young man who is wonderful. Very knowledgeable and understanding. He is thorough while still being quick and runs on time. Reception staff are great and the dental assistant today was fab too. I assume that my original experience was out of the ordinary for this branch. And they've made up for it since. Id recommend this branch - with the caveat of avoiding that spiteful woman.

Hadn’t been to a dentist for years, and the receptionist was really kind and helpful. The dentist and assistant put me at ease as was quite nervous. I went for a check up but knew I needed a filling before hand as it had come out years ago. I was told the filling would have to be another day due to timing of patients. Upon inspection the dentist said she could do the filling now as the tooth in question was in good condition for it as needed minimal prep work. The filling was done quickly and I am very happy with the result. Thank you for your amazing service.
