Plymouth Community Dental Services

I've rung 20x two days in a row at different times, including right at 8:45 and after selecting the option that I have no NHS dentist, the phone line sends me directly to "no operators available." Even 111 acknowledges they're incredibly difficult to get hold of. It seems that I will either have to ring every minute until I get through, or wait until the weekend when 111 switches to another service. Not great for an emergency service. It would be good if they were able to get funding to expand, if that's the problem they're experiencing.

Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had, from phone call, examination, and treatment. I called in the morning, got a call back for more information, was triaged, and asked if I could come in at 18:30 that day, the entire body of colleagues there were amazing, from reception, support staff, nursing and obviously dentistry of the highest order. I wish I could name, names so individuals could receive their praise, however I am terrible with names, but was your 18:40 patient. Thank you all.

Simply an excellent service ,from the Receptionist to the Dentist and assistant staff. I could not find an NHS dentist - mine lapsed during covid. Using 111 took about 5 attempts and the callback assessment was thorough. You may have to persevere and the Service is at breaking point. Nathan the dentist and his wonderful assistant were welcoming empathetic, and caring, and after being shown an X-ray of the effected tooth, I was given options. I opted for an extraction. Throughout the process Nathan was highly professional and the tooth was extracted without pain. As others have said I would give this Service 10 **********. Thank you everyone at Seven Trees.

Wonderful experience despite my huge fear of having four wisdom teeth removed under IV sedation. Very professional staff, especially the dentist, who was incredibly kind and friendly, along with the whole team. Thank you!

Absolutely useless I've been trying all week to get an appointment it's now Thursday, doesn't matter if you're on the dot 8:45 or trying for the next couple hours all I get is there are no agents available goodbye! So basically it's roulette whether you get seen or not, 111 told me they can do anything till the weekend!

Also the lady in the recovery room.. and the two receptionists.. bless you all xxx In the nicest way possible, I hope not to see you again too soon 🥰 As for the negative reviews a) this place has nothing to do with nhs 111, they are totally different and have different criteria for triage. b) they are not responsible for the dental crisis and can only see so many patients in the day.. if you are 15th in the queue 2 minutes after opening time, just imagine how many pts call over the day.. and I’m perfectly sure that if you are polite to them, they will respond in kind 😬

I go there for my autistic son they are very efficient and super kind to him and they explain everything they are doing which puts him slightly at ease. But let's be honest who likes the dentist lol? 😜
