I needed extensive dental care some thirteen years ago and happened across John Moore Dental Practice in Houndiscombe Rd. It was with a bit of trepidation that I arranged for a consultation and was very quickly put at ease by the caring attitude of the staff and then by John himself. His professional calm and considerate demeanour very quickly gave me full confidence to go ahead and sign up for what needed to be done. All work was carried out over several appointments and to this date I’ve never had a complaint against this practice including the staff. A very professional dental practice. Well done all. Keep up the good work. I would highly recommend John Moore Dentistry as excellent.

As usual everything and everyone was excellent and on time. It has been over 40 years that I have known John, having played rugby with him in our younger days, he has looked after my dentistry requirements in that time and always found him excellent at explaining what he is doing or going to do to put me at ease. I will miss you John and wish all the best in your new venture.

Went to this dental practise for tooth removed i was told it had only be 200 pounds. Then, I was charged another 150, not very happy. I know I've waited some time to type this review because I've been in 2 minds about writing a review about this practise. The staff are very good and also the treatment is very good. But there after, service saying that they'd phone me to check-up on me, they didn't and then they wanted extra one hundred and fifty pounds on top, which i could not afford but I did pay it and you told me it was only two hundred only a one star review from me discussing

I recently attended this practice for an emergency broken tooth repair. If there was one thing in this life I hate, it’s going to the dentist, throughout my service career and afterwards I have always been wary about a dental procedure. But from the moment I walked into reception I was made to feel welcome and at ease. John Moore sat me down and explained what he was going to do step by step. I would imagine like most people the injection is the thing you hate, but for once it was ok, very little pain and it was done. Both John and his assistant, I think she was called Dawn were very professional and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. After the procedure John explained what he had done and talked about aftercare, in all, the procedure was the best I have experienced in my lifetime I will certainly go back if I have any dental problems. Went today for an mini emergency as have a very painful infection in my wisdom tooth. Staff were very lovely and reassuring to someone who was very nervous to go to the dentist and in a lot of pain! Thank you so much for looking after me and for all of your kindness.

I’ve been with John Moore Dental for about 13 years now, and have had the very best of care and treatment going.. Highly recommend this dental practice..
