Customer Reviews
Nottingham Oral Health Centre has a rating of 3.2 out of 5 based on over 56 reviews on Google
I had two wisdom tooth extractions with Dr Amit. The first was to remove remaining roots from a failed, procedure at another dentist. I was incredibly nervous and anxious after my previous experience, but Dr Amit was fantastic. The second extraction was done so quickly and skillfully, I was honestly shocked at how fast it was over. I cannot recommend him enough.
absolutely awful. I’m an nhs patient and booked in for a checkup and id told him I had a lot of plague build up and needed a clean. all he did was quickly look at my teeth and put some gel on for my sensitivity and called it a day. that dentist had been fobbing people off for years. I’m paying £27 which should include a scale and polish.
Lovely dental practice and team. Me and my family have been coming here for years and we have never had any issues
My father was referred here by the NHS for an emergency appointment. We were under the impression, as was explained beforehand, that he would receive the treatment he urgently needed – a tooth removal due to severe pain and damage. Instead, the surgery only carried out an X-ray, prescribed antibiotics, and then demanded an additional £200 to perform the extraction immediately. Otherwise, we were told he would need to wait 1–2 weeks for an NHS slot. This doesn’t sit right. The NHS is already paying these private practices to handle emergency appointments, yet patients are then pressured to pay again out of pocket if they want the actual treatment done without delay. It feels like the surgery is being paid twice – once by the NHS, and once by patients desperate to get out of pain. My father left still in severe pain, unable to eat or sleep properly. The whole system feels like a money grab rather than genuine care. To anyone referred here: be aware. Ask upfront what is actually included under NHS cover, and don’t assume urgent treatment will be done without additional charges.
I can’t thank Dr. Imran Patel and Amanda enough for their outstanding care at Nottingham Oral Health Centre. I came in for an emergency appointment after my tooth unexpectedly broke, and from the moment I walked in, I felt reassured and in safe hands. Dr. Patel was incredibly professional, gentle, and thorough in explaining the procedure. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and the quality of the emergency filling was excellent — I left the clinic pain-free and genuinely impressed with the result. Amanda was also absolutely wonderful — kind, supportive, and calming throughout the entire visit. Their teamwork and compassion turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone in need of urgent or routine dental care. Thank you both for your kindness, skill, and professionalism!
Totally disgusted. not a problem with dentist it's the front team, rang about my problem, referred my details to portland road hucknall which seen me ASAP, was told had abscess was given antibiotics . 3 days later couldn't swallow, severe facial swelling, rang my dentist again, bear in mind this was my permanent dentist, said couldn't fit me in, rang portland dentist again seen me ASAP, they sent me to AE which I was admitted and given iv antibiotics. I've now deregister from this dentist. One thing that got to me was they said they'd rang me twice, plus tried voicemail.....I don't like lies ,very unprofessional
Just registered and went to my first appointment. I’m very nervous of the dentist and the dentist was amazing. Counted down every time she did something so I knew when it would be over and she told me everything she was doing. Made me feel so comfortable. Receptionist and the dentists assistant was also lovely. Definitely recommend!
