I went for my first consultation today, and I was very impressed! The waiting area and treatment room where absolutely spotless. Jordan the dentist was great, he explained everything really clearly and actually seeing you're own teeth on the screen makes it a much better experience. The receptionist (I cant remember her name😕) was really friendly and helpful too. I'm usually really anxious at the dentist but I was totally put at ease today! 😅

Outstanding care and treatment. Sally at reception was brilliant helping me navigate some forms and is a brilliant welcoming ambassador for the practice. I was seen as an emergency and I couldn’t have had better treatment. Dr Jordan was amazing. He listened as I explained some complex health issues, and the treatment went smoothly and nothing was rushed. Sarah who assisted was kind and supportive. I honestly can’t complain about my experience at Gibside Dental. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel really welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. My dentist Sam, is incredibly knowledgeable, amazing at what he does and has a great sense of humour, which really helps put you at ease. His dental nurse Sarah, is fantastic as well—both of them make a great team. I joined over the last few months and have been really impressed. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Gibside Dental for a second opinion on my NHS treatment, and I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, the team were incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping me understand what was going on. A special thank you to Sophie, the Practice Manager, who was welcoming and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Brit, the nurse, was reassuring and attentive throughout my appointment, and Sam, the dentist, quickly identified the actual cause of my ongoing pain and sensitivity—something that had been missed previously. He explained everything clearly, gave me a solid recommendation on what to do next, and provided copies of the scans/X-rays taken, which was really helpful. I also want to mention Sally on front of house, who was warm, organised, and made checking in and out seamless. Overall, the service was excellent, and I left feeling listened to, informed, and confident about my next steps. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t recommend Gibside Dental highly enough. As a new patient, I was nervous, like many people are when visiting the dentist, but Sally immediately put me at ease with her warm and friendly welcome. My appointments with Jordan have been exceptionally thorough, and he has a great way of making each visit feel smooth and comfortable. Brilliant throughout the staff are excellent at making you feel welcome. Very talkative throughout from all makes you feel at ease immediately when entering the reception. Pleased l made the move to Gibside after 20 years + at our previous Dental surgery. The practice is absolutely spotless throughout.

I recently had extensive dental work at this recently opened practice, including a root canal and crown, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, and everything ran smoothly and on time. I was naturally quite nervous about undergoing a root canal, but one big standout was the dentist (Dr Jordan Heron) took the time to explain every step of the process clearly which really helped settle my anxiety. What impressed me most was how gentle and skilled the dentist was. The entire procedure was completely pain-free—something I didn’t expect with this type of treatment. Their professionalism and attention to detail were clear throughout, and I always felt in safe hands, and relaxed (to the point of falling asleep during the treatment). The crown work was completed to a very high standard, and the result looks and feels great. It’s clear the practice genuinely cares about both the quality of their work and the comfort of their patients. I would highly recommend this practice, especially to anyone who feels anxious about dental treatment. I can honestly say it was one of the most positive healthcare experiences I’ve ever had.
