I have been at Fartown Dental Practice for over 10 years, and throughout that time I have consistently had great experiences. The staff are always helpful and welcoming, making every visit stress-free from the moment you arrive. The dentists themselves are professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, always taking the time to explain things clearly and engaging in friendly chats, making a relaxed atmosphere. Even though I have now moved quite far away from Huddersfield, I still choose to return to the practice because of the outstanding level of care and trust they have built over the years. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly dentist.

I've been with this dental practice for well over 20 years. First off, Sally's dentistry is exemplary and the Fartown community is very lucky to have her. Considering some of the challenging situations dental staff have to manage, I'm incredibly grateful she has stuck with the Fartown area. I've worked with enough people to recognise that Sally has a structured, highly disciplined heritage—she's firm but caring. How some people in the reviews have translated that as racism is beyond me, especially since she employs a team from various backgrounds. In the past, getting through on the phone was difficult, but the reception has improved massively. While call handling could still be faster, the front-of-house team in the practice handle everything with absolute courtesy and efficiency I recently had a bridge done by Sally, and she was incredibly patient and accommodating when I returned three times to have it adjusted. Getting the fit just right takes time, and her dedication to my comfort was exceptional. Top marks to the practice from me.

I’ve just had bridge work done after losing an old crown chewing a sweet !! (I don’t usually eat sweets either). Sally and her team were great, professional, caring and very kind. Amazing dental surgery! I have been coming here since I was born and although I still have nerves about the dentist I would never, ever see anyone other than Sally 😂 (so i hope she never retires or i don’t know what im going to do). I had an emergency dentist appointment yesterday at another surgery🥲 and the way I was treated was not good resulting in me having to have be seen twice for a problem that should have been resolved in my first appointment (and given unnecessary antibiotics). Sally quickly solved the problem, talking me through it and easing my nerves. She then even only charged me an emergency fee rather than the usual price due to me paying twice! She really does just want the best for her patients, no pain and good teeth! I would recommend anyone to this surgery (my whole family come here and have never had any problems either!)

I cannot recommend Fartown Dental Practice enough, they are a great team with truly fantastic staff. As someone with a significant fear of dental treatment and the added physical challenges of rheumatoid arthritis, Dr. Sally Fitzgibon has been a total game-changer. From the moment you walk in, the warmth of the practice makes you feel like you’re in a family home rather than a clinic. ​Dr. Sally is incredibly thorough with her treatment plans, ensuring I am comfortable and pain-free. They always consider patient pain and provide availability immediately when it is needed most. The practice is remarkably fair with the pricing and truly focuses on saving your teeth. ​The care extends to my 9-year-old daughter, too. After a scary experience elsewhere as an emergency through 111, she was very anxious, but thanks to the wonderful advice and 'above and beyond' support from Ayesha on reception, my daughter built immediate trust and allowed Dr. Fitzgibon to start treatment right away. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Exceptional care, kindness, and professionalism!

Excellent service. Good value for money with NHS prices. I have used the service for over a decade. Able to get on the day appointment if necessary. Sally is an artist with her work. Would recommend highly.

I’ve been a patient here for over three decades, Over that time, Sally has helped me with everything from routine cleaning, flossing and overall oral care. I'm happy to see my kids receiving the same care from Sally even after all these years, and wouldn't recommend any other practice. 😊
