Fence Houses Dental Practice

​If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid Fence Houses Dental Clinic and Iman Ahmadi at all costs. ​I suffer from Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), a severe medical condition where stomach acid destroys your teeth. I explicitly informed the practice about my condition twice before my appointment. They completely ignored it. ​Instead of treating me properly, Mr. Ahmadi threw temporary fillings into my back teeth without even bothering to tell me they weren't permanent. When they realized they couldn't handle my condition, they didn't even refer me to the Dental Hospital because they just assumed I'd be rejected. They provided no comprehensive treatment plan, left my oral health to significantly deteriorate, and then tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my own fault. ​I took my case to the NHS North East and North Cumbria ICB. After a thorough clinical review by the Chief Medical Officer, my complaint was OFFICIALLY UPHELD. ​The official clinical advisor concluded that this practice failed to appropriately consider my CVS, failed to explain my treatment, and failed to refer me when they were out of their depth. They completely failed in their duty of care and ruined my teeth in the process. ​Do not trust this practice with your dental health. They are incompetent, negligent, and will not take your medical history seriously.

My dentist was quick professional polite and refreshingly young. Receptionist had excellent telephone manor also. I come from washington to get this service

I can't rate this new dental practice enough. A few years ago I was a nervous wreck visiting this dental practice to the point where i had to be sent elsewhere to be sedated, but since it has been taken over, I have has some work carried out by Dr Ahmadi and I can't thank him enough, hes a genius. The work he carried out was completely pain free. My nervousness has now completely gone as he was very careful, kind and considerate. Fully restored my faith in this dental practice!!

This is been my Dentist for last 25 years this is one place I try to avoid as hate going but when I have to go always get great service from receptionist to Dentist thankyou

Removed me and one of my children as i could never get an appointment after covid and went over the timeline, was given No notice or anything just removed as they couldnt get us in. They have Extremely rude receptionists. My son remained on and had an appointment booked in but on the day i was sent to hospital from my doctor so i had to cancel the dental app, i was told by the receptionist not to book dentist appointments if i had no intention of going in an Extremely rude manner, it was as if i asked to have ill health and be sent to hospital. Hopefully she never needs to go to hospital and need to rearrange any appointments on the same day! Always rude, abrupt and belittling. Dentist Left a chunk of tooth in the gum when a family member had an extraction. My daughter had 2 seperate extractions first dentist done great, second time my daughter was in pain and it didnt go well at all starting off her fear of dentists. Avoid this place unless you want to be spoken to rudely off the receptionist and things going wrong with your dental work

I registered with this dentist a few months ago and have been really happy with the treatment I have received. Simmi is a brilliant dentist, takes her time, is very precise and very knowledgeable. I have now registered my little boy with this dentist and he saw Simmi today and she made him feel very comfortable even though he was nervous. I am extremely pleased that I chose this surgery for my family.

Great service. I had a considerable amount of work done and was made very comfortable and at ease, all work carried out was completely pain free. Left with an amazing smile. Reception staff were happy, smiling and polite and gave me both an email and telephone reminder which is very handy. Appointment times were pretty quick.
