Rude and unprofessional approach from female orthodontist who didn’t even come to my chair to talk with me. She spoke rudely through a plastic screen while she worked on another patient. I had braces fitted here as a private patient some years ago with no problems. I returned 3 weeks ago because I could feel something sharp on the retainer. She fixed it for me, she was polite and friendly, I paid £80. This morning I rang because the retainer came off some of the teeth yesterday. Receptionist was very helpful and asked me to go in for 12.50. I traveled from Brecon for the appointment. Lovely nurse asked me to sit. I then heard someone talking and realised it was a voice talking to me from the next cubicle behind a plastic screen. It was the orthodontist I had seen 3 weeks before. She said they couldn’t work on bonded retainers anymore and I would have to find someone else to do it. I’m not complaining if this is their policy but why would you be so rude as to let the whole room hear what you were saying to me? And why did she not have the decency to let me know 3 weeks ago that this was the case or at least on the phone this morning before I made the journey. I would like to make a suggestion for future reference - don’t forget to bring your manners to work with you.

Awful! Closed voicemail is on when the practice should be open. The staff are rude and don’t care about the children’s treatment or aftercare. They don’t want to see parents and if there is a problem ask us to leave child in pain for next appointment (in 2months!) the receptionist is the worst! Telling patients it’s normally and just to wait like others and actually rude. Avoid if you can- have fed back to my dental practice who have confirmed they have heard so many bad feedback and will look at another orthodontic

Great service! All the staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help. The receptionists are very nice 🙂 The rude receptionist is not working here any more. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Very rude. My child left in tears, unapologetic for her behaviour and they way she spoke to myself or my child. I will be taking this further.

Really unhelpful receptionist seems like she forced to be there! Practice time shows open 0830 0903 still automated message saying practice closed, also very unsympathetic with problems!
