Wild Smiles Dental Practice sorted my emergency swiftly; calm, friendly, and thoroughly professional throughout.
Great experience with this practice. I have now used them twice and both times visiting were very positive. The first time as I had broken a tooth in which they tried their best to help it heal and make it more comfortable for me advising me on what to do to aid this also and the second was to build it up which has been done perfectly at a very reasonable price! Treatments are always explained in great detail and they ensure you are happy before you continue! Thank you again!! 🙂
To Clarify I Did attend this private dental practice for the first time a few weeks ago with a sore swollen gum around a back tooth. I was given a quick examination on the left side of my mouth and I asked if a full examination of my whole mouth could be done, and was told no. Was that going to be an additional cost? I have never been to a dentist and not had my full mouth/teeth examined. I was charged an additional £15 for a written prescription! Not the antibiotics, just a paper prescription! Then an x-ray, was done, which only showed half of the problem tooth! Then told the tooth was decaying and advised to have it removed. In addition, am then told the 3 teeth following from the back one also not good and need filling. Considering I have Never had any work done to my teeth, except cleaning and not had any problems with these other teeth; this came as a bit of a shock. I went to another private dentist for a second opinion. This time I got a full mouth examination, a full x-ray of my entire teeth set. There was no mention of any additional 3 teeth needing to be filled. The only common factor was possibly the extraction of the same back tooth, IF the gum swelling continues on a regular basis. Another prescription was written up at no extra charge and the whole service was slightly less than the first Dentist I went too. Glad I went for a 2nd opinion. .
After 4 days of excruciating pain. Can't eat, Can't sleep, barely drinking fluids. I had countless calls to 111, my dentist and my GP and combined, none of theses services, came to an informative decision to help me with my pain. Feeling tired and annoyed. I searched by chance if an emergency clinic came see me. I found this place right near me in West Harrow. I told them my situation and they booked me appointment. Walking in I was a bit skeptical as I'd spoken to so many people by then and no one could help me. They called me into the room and while explaining to them what had gone on, I broke down, as I was just so tired and fed up with the pain. They reassured me that they will be able to treat me today. They gave me different options, but as I knew the tooth had to come out, I opted for that. The dentist and the dental nurse kept me calm and collected throughout the whole treatment. They were happily, helpful and informative. Exactly what I needed from the beginning. Great service, lovely and professional people. Highly recommended.
High quality service at a more than affordable price. Rang the practice in the afternoon, had an appointment in the evening. Couldn’t have been easier. The dental issue I came in with was taken care of immediately in a professional and caring manner. All round very friendly and I knew I was in safe hands as soon as I walked in. Would give a sixth star if possible, definitely recommend!!
Never answers the phone (same as some other comments mentioned), ended up going to Night & Day in Acton instead who answered immediately and got me booked in within a few hours who I'd highly recommend instead - plus the xray was free. Yes the difference for me was driving 15 miles vs 3, but if you don't answer the phone the first 5 times for an appointment, how can you ever be relied on for aftercare. Not a good look.
I am very happy with the service I received. I chipped my front tooth and they were able to see me very quickly and had appointments available in the evening. The filling they did was so good you wouldn’t even be able to notice I had chipped my tooth it looks so natural. They were also really friendly, I would highly recommend to anyone.
