Confidence Restored!! Had been going to a previous dentist for years, changed to Connlaoth in Heathwood house and honestly, It was the best decision I ever made! Connlaoth is so Honest, welcoming, easy going and made me feel comfortable throughout, He restored my smile and gave me so much confidence back. No question was ever to much and he always gave me any advice I asked for. Brilliant at accommodating appointments also! Fantastic Dentist and would 100% recommend! Connlaoth definitely deserves to be recognised for his brilliant service towards his patients and his work!! Keep the tunes on Connlaith and Thank you so much again!!

Very disappointing experience. I arrived on time for my scheduled orthodontic appointment, but I was left waiting for over 50 minutes. What made it even more frustrating was seeing other people arrive after me and be taken straight in to see the technician. It makes me question whether the clinic actually follows any proper appointment procedure, or if appointment times are treated like a joke. What is the point of booking an appointment for a specific time if patients are still left waiting this long and others who arrive later are seen before them? I understand that delays can happen, but waiting over 50 minutes with no clear explanation is unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time. To be clear, I do not blame the technician personally, as they are not responsible for the appointment system. My concern is with how the clinic manages appointments and communicates delays to patients. I would also like to know what the formal complaints procedure is, as I would like this matter to be properly reviewed.

On 4 separate occasions on appointments booked months apart over the space of 2 years, on the day of my appointment they would call to cancel as the dentist was "sick", suspicious that they seem to always be sick when they have to see nhs patients. Also strange that it happened on multiple appointments over two years. Ended up having to go to a different practice just to have Maguires call me months later asking if I still want to be with their practice…after THEY cancelled 4/5 CONSECUTIVE appointments. This practice is a joke, they should just fully privatise rather than harming peoples oral health by making them wait YEARS for simple treatment. If I couldn’t afford to go private I would have ended up having to get those teeth pulled and probably with an infection as my nerve was exposed. If you can afford it. Take your money elsewhere.

Disgusting managers, directors, staff, service and treatment. During mouth hygiene part of wire connecting my front teeth was disconnected. Tried to arrange appointment 8 months, Didn't get it. as consequence couldn't properly swallow, eat or talk without hurting and injuring toque. Was living 8 months in pain. Other story. My 2 teeth was removed. During removal they moved good teeth. As consequence tooth roots are open and I will need to remove it at some stage. Then started to complain, I was treated as trash, kicked out and removed from dental practice. Deplorable. Shame on you.

I'm not a fan of the dentist and ended up with tooth ache. After reluctantly booking an appointment, I had an assessment and was immediately put at ease. Unfortunately, I required a root canal and crown, however I was left in the very capable hands of David. Over a series of appointments, he ensured I was comfortable at all times and the whole experience was much better than I ever expected. Big thanks to the entire DJ Maguire dental team. I'll not hesitate in booking another appointment and have already scheduled a check up!

I had a tooth removed on 7 October by Caitriona. She warned me that it might be very painful and that there could be bleeding and bruising. She did the job quickly and painlessly and also sewed it up very well. In the event I had no pain or bruising and no real bleeding either. It has now healed and I can only say how delighted I am that she did such an excellent job!

Looking at the reviews on here and the 1 star reviews are because people cannot get an appointment? Grow up people! If you cant get an appointment that means they are good and unlucky for you! Bottom line my dentist referred me here for a deep filling, it was the least painful filling I have ever experienced and the end result is amazing. Paying private for it here Vs waiting 2 years to eventually end up losing it on the NHS was an easy decision.
