I always receive exceptional service from the team at The Smile Care Centre. I have been going regularly for many years and have always found them to be excellent. Nima Namin is the best dentist I have ever come across. Very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Because of my confidence in Nima and the practice, I decided to go ahead with dental aligner treatment to straighten my teeth. The results are amazing and exceeded all my expectations. The team are friendly, helpful and take time to ensure you get the best treatment and are fully informed at each stage. I would highly recommend the Smile Care Centre.

I was very nervous with my appointment as my previous experiences else where weren't very pleasant. Samira and her nurse Martha were however really gentle with me and reassured me throughout.They both exuded a higher level of professionalism and appeared to have command over their roles. The surgery was cute and clean and staff at reception were very warm.For the first time in my life ,I look forward to my next dental appointment.Thank you Samira and Smile Care Centre!

Fantastic and professional service. My daughter had 2 extractions ready for her next orthodontics appointment. Dr Namin, Chelsea and all the staff were great. Dr Namin and Chelsea were very patient with my daughter as she was extremely nervous. Thank you ❤️

i had an emergency appointment here as i am not currently registered with a dentist, the reception staff were absolutely amazing and that is why i gave this two stars, however the man i spoke to in my appointment was so rude, he made me feel unsettled from the beginning, when he saw my infected tooth he immediately told me that i will get sepsis if not sorted which quickly made me panic and scared. he then persistently asked why i have not had this sorted, he asked this about 6 times, i then told him this has only just happened. he kept asking me this question even though i had already answered him. He was very judgemental and i couldn’t imagine having to see him everytime i needed to go to the dentist. all in all not a great experience, i don’t usually leave reviews but to be honest i have never felt as belittled as i did in the appointment, will not be returning.

I was away from home when I had an issue with my teeth. I urgently needed to see a dentist and the Smile Care Centre arranged an appointment not only the same day but within 90 minutes. I was impressed with this as I also was with all the staff I met. I can only rate the Dentist, the Dental nurse and reception personnel that i met as all being excellent. The dentist examined, took an xray and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Reception were exceptionally helpful with the paperwork and answering my questions. Everyone was really friendly. I don't normally do reviews but here they were so kind, helpful and professional that I have reviewed them. August 2025.

Yesterday I had my tooth removed by Dr Nima Namin and oh my goodness he was brilliant! The practice has seen me 3 times for the same emergency and always at short notice. I’m 22 weeks pregnant and have been suffering with an abscess. Previous to this I actually paid to see my previous dentist who said there was nothing wrong, then had an emergency 111 appointment with a dentist in Derby who removed the nerve in my tooth and packed with a temporary filling. The problem still remained and was getting worse and worse and worse. I rang on Friday and within an hour I was seen, safely x-rayed with the use of a lead apron (was so reassuring to know they take my baby’s safety seriously too) and a treatment plan was put in place. Dr Namin showed me my x ray and the NHS dentist had actually drilled too far into my tooth and cracked it, no wonder it was so infected and painful. After reassuring me and comforting me as I was absolutely terrified of having my tooth out Dr Namin sufficiently numbed me and was so encouraging, patient and polite as even the needle was painful for me due to the swelling. Within literally 2 seconds the whole tooth was out. I couldn’t believe it. I was so grateful! Both Dr Namin and his lovely dental nurse were just incredible. I cannot praise them or thank them enough. Your reception team are also an absolute credit to your surgery. Just the most lovely, knowledgeable and kind team. Thank you so much to everyone at Smile Care Centre. We are so grateful to have found you!

I have taken my two children to this dentist for 10 years and each time has been slightly worse. Nema Namin has never really spoken to them or even looked up to say hello or good bye. The manner in which he has spoken to them has always come across as arrogant and rude. He appears very judgemental and opinionated and my youngest daughter who was around 4 at the time has been left in tears. However we did keep going and never complained. I have witnessed on several visits him talking down to dental nurses and being very sharp with them. On several visits he has contradicted himself and told me my daughters have had treatment that I know they haven't had. This has lead me to have absolutely no confidence in his ability as a dentist. Recently I posted a one star review on here after recieving the usual experience. My oldest daughter was midway through treatment to have teeth removed to make room for braces. I made an appointment for this and confirmed it the week before, when we arrived we were told it was only for them to look in her mouth, when I explained that we were led to believe it was for an extraction I was spoken down to and basically told I was lying and that the receptionist would have never said this to me. After putting the one star review I spoke to the practice about an appointment and was questioned by the dental nurse as to why I had done this as Nima Namin had read it and wasn't happy with this. I was told he stated that he felt uncomfortable seeing my daughters again. I just couldn't believe that half way through treatment he was potentially going to stop seeing her and that he was the one who felt uncomfortable after years of it being us. The receptionist later contacted me and said that Nima had said he felt he could no longer treat both my daughters as communication had broken down. I just couldn't believe this after putting a one star review my daughter's were taken off his books and left without a dentist part way through treatment. When I look back he has actually done us a favour. We have since found a lovely dental practice where my children feel happy to attend not anxious and worried like before. They are greeted and spoken to like human beings. After speaking to others who attend Smile Care centre they say they have had exactly the same experience as us. My own elderly mother used to attend and had her remaining teeth removed by Namin without being told. She was told it was for a check up, as she had been told previously she would have to go to the hospital to have this done as she was a high risk patient with heart failure and other chronic health conditions, along with having a phobia of the dentist. When she left she was shaking and so upset, she never went back. I just deeply regret not leaving sooner, and if anyone is thinking of joining this dentist please don't .
