I have been treated by Mr Ashley Watson this past year. Fantastic Dentist Implantologist, great manner, friendly professional and instantly put me at ease. I was embarrassed at first, I needn’t have been, he was so easy to be around and explained everything. I have had extensive treatment done, which has been well above my expectations. I am not a fan of going to the dentist (once in 10 years maybe..) but I love the smile centre! I started going here since I got dental insurance with my employer. It's not the closest option to me but the reviews and feedback were that good I wanted to try. My dentist is Ruth and she is amazing! Really calming and chatty throughout the process so I know what is happening and explaining the reasons why. She is super friendly and provides balanced and honest opinions when it comes to treatment choices. I highly recommend the smile centre 👏

Unhelpful reception policies ruin an otherwise decent practice The dental care has been fine, but the reception service makes appointments unnecessarily difficult. The practice is only open during office hours thus makes it difficult to visit for individuals in full time employment. While taking time off work isn’t an issue for me to accommodate required treatments, the complete lack of flexibility around scheduling is. I wasn’t allowed to book both a dentist and hygienist on the same day, even though my check-up was already done and treatment underway. The receptionist’s dismissive stance felt arbitrary and obstructive. This rigidity has pushed me to look for a more patient-focused practice—one that treats scheduling like part of the service, not an obstacle. I will not be returning. --- Want a version that sounds more casual, or something tailored for a specific platform like Google or NHS Choices?

I use The Smile Centre for the dentist, for dental hygiene appointments. I cannot express how good Lindsey Peddle is at her job - I'm a bit of a nervous patient (through no fault of hers) and she is reassuring, kind and explains everything in such an easy to understand manner. I go in nervous, but come out so happy with the result and the exemplary service I get. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to keep their teeth clean and sparkling, she is simply great!

The Smile Centre is simply the best! I first went years ago to enquire about tooth implants after some bad experiences with other dentists in the area. It was refreshing to find a dentist that talks to you and explains everything. I have had two implants here and it has been a painless and easy procedure. Amanda is my current dentist and she is brilliant, very good with nervous patients like myself. Reception is also very welcoming. I highly recommend The Smile Centre!

Great service at The Smile Centre. Ruth is my dentist and is friendly yet professional and puts you at ease. Recently had a tooth extraction and she made sure I was comfortable and understood the procedure, and provided good aftercare instructions. The receptionists are also very efficient and welcoming and make sure you have all your next appointments covered and answer any questions.
