Burgate Dental Practice & Implant Centre

I went to Burgate for a crown and an implant. The team were friendly, kept me informed throughout the processes. The surgery was spotless and appeared very well equipped. I suppose the evidence of their doing a good job was the fact that both processes are now complete, there has been no issues and I am very happy with the outcome.

I’ve had a brilliant experience at Burgate Dental Practice. The staff are friendly and reassuring, and the hygienist and all the dental work was painless. Any anxiety I used to have about visiting the dentist has completely gone. I can now eat without tooth pain for the first time in years, which feels amazing. I can thoroughly recommend Ioannis and the whole team.

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE at Burgate dental practice. From the moment I arrived, the staff were not welcoming or friendly. I saw Dr. Zeynab Al Shabib, who initially assured me that no extractions would be necessary and talked me through a suitable treatment plan. However, at the second appointment, she changed her advice and said I needed to have my impacted third molars extracted, which was a complicated case. This change of mind left me feeling misled about the treatment plan. The receptionist, Bethanie, was also quite rude and dismissive, and at times we felt discriminated by her attitude and tone. She even tried to claim that I had approved an order for a carrier device, which I never agreed to. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish - I didn’t feel like I was in safe hands and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend Burgate to anyone, both from a dental advice and customer service point of view. Thankfully, I went to another dentist who is managing my case using only aligners, without any extractions.

I have recently had 2 root canal appointments and can honestly say I couldn't have been treated any better. I only experienced very mild discomfort after both sessions (despite fearing the worst after all of the horror stories) and have never felt so at ease in the dentist chair. I would highly recommend this very professional, practice.
