Highly professional and genuine care when you are treated in the Dentist chair! Always checking as the procedure happens Great aftercare should anything go amiss which is highly unlikely. I’ve been a client/patient of Ewood House for many years. My husband passed away three years ago so as I struggled to attend for appointments I cancelled my Denplan. It was a bit of a shock last week to pay £192 for a single extraction, however the care and attention was still excellent.

I have been going to Ewood for many years, I cannot fault anything! Reception staff are lovely and Altaf is amazing! I would definitely recommend 😉

Recently had a dental implant done by Matthew. Although its a long process, I'm glad I chose Matthew & im very happy with the final restoration. I'm not great with dentists but felt at ease throughout. Big thanks to Matthew, Wendy & the team at Ewood Dental, highly recommend.

My front tooth chipped at an angle, and I was convinced I’d need a new crown. I booked in to see Alex and Alison at Albert House Dentist, expecting the worst. I already knew Alex was an excellent dentist from previous work he’s done for me, but I didn’t realise he was a magician too! 😆 No new tooth needed — he worked his wizardry and completely fixed it. You would never know it had ever been chipped. Absolutely amazing service and such a relief. Thank you so much!

I recently attended an appointment and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to the way staff handled a simple mistake. I accidentally arrived late as I had misread my appointment time. When I checked in, reception told me it was fine and asked me to wait, but no one informed me that I would be seen last or that there would be a delay. I waited around 35 minutes with no communication, while other patients were seen before me. When I was eventually called in, the dental chair was still very wet from cleaning, and I was expected to lie on that; no effort was made to dry it and this has never happened before, therefore I assume this was a petty attempt at getting back at me for being late, despite me apologising repeatedly. Additionally the supporting member staff appeared visibly annoyed, and she mentioned my mistake repeatedly stating this is why they left me until last. The overall attitude from reception and support staff felt hostile and unwelcoming. I fully accept responsibility for arriving late, however the lack of communication and unprofessional attitude made the experience uncomfortable. The dentist herself was polite and professional as always, and my concern relates only to the way the situation was handled by other staff.

I have been a client of Ewood House Dental practice for many years, as far back when they were on the opposite side of the road! My dentist was then Mr Matterson. Since then I’ve seen dentists & dental nurses come & go, but some of the staff still there. I would say the friendliest people & from my experience the most caring. This year after years of missing teeth, I once again plucked up the courage to enquire about more implants. Matthew Gormally & Wendy throughout all my surgeries helped me through it immensely & kept me at ease. Thank you so much Matthew, you have regained my confidence in dentistry work.
