Devonshire Park Dental Centre - The Parks Dental Partnership

3.3

Devonshire Park Dental Centre - The Parks Dental Partnership in Birkenhead offers a mix of experiences. While some patients report exceptional care, particularly in emergency situations, others have encountered issues with patient retention policies. The practice is noted for its compassionate staff and reassuring treatment, making it a suitable choice for those with dental anxieties.

However, there are concerns about communication and patient management, with some long-term patients feeling abruptly removed from records. Despite these drawbacks, the practice maintains a reputation for professionalism and effective dental care, albeit with room for improvement in administrative processes.

I had been at this practice since I was a child. They have all my dental records. Everything I’ve ever had done. I paid for all my treatment in full every time. I rang up to help with a problem only to be told I wasn’t on record anymore. I asked why, I’ve been coming here for 25 years. An had a yearly gap before. If not longer… To be told because I haven’t been for 11 months. I’m out. No letter to say; if you don’t attend within X amount of days you will be removed. No text to say please make an appointment or you’ll be struck off. Not even a phone call, it takes 30 seconds to let someone know of such a decision being made. Nothing. I think that’s a disgusting way to treat its patients. Especially the ones that have been there their entire life. With how bad the UK is at the moment as well, knowing you can’t get into another dentist elsewhere, it’s disgusting. So it’s either go private and pay out your backend or be left in pain with no practice to go to. Sounds fair.

Couldn’t rate this Dentist any lower, no care towards their patients at all. I’ve now moved to another Dentist and it’s like night and day the service I’ve received. Avoid here at all costs..!!

I was a patient here from when the practice moved from st.caths along with my children, they cancelled 2 of my appointments due to covid then I waited to be given another appointment which didn't happen so I rang and they said I'd been struck off, they wouldn't even put me on a list for nhs, I'm 76 always worked and paid for my treatment I feel I was treated unfairly by this practice and the fact that I can't get an nhs dentists anywhere.

I’m not sure how this place gets negative reviews, yes there’s long waiting lists but that’s the NHS. I have a phobia of the dentist and I’ve always been felt so reassured by whoever has done my appointment. Thank you to Edward today for performing a miracle and fixing my infected tooth when I thought I’d never get rid of the pain!
