I took my 96 year old mother for a dental appointment at 2. We were ten mins earlier it was raining. And my mother was short of breath . The lady at the. Door refused us entry even when my mum asked if she could have a seat . The reason. They were having lunch and they don’t like to sit in reception as this is what they would have had to do if we had entered . I understand we all are entitled to lunch but I would have thought there would have been a more thoughtful approach . Extremely disappointed

I recently had to have a tooth extracted. A molar. I can’t thank Christopher Green enough and it was well worth the expense (private patient). Apart from the loud crack it was painless. No loss of blood. No problems. I can’t speak more highly. He also did a filling (expensive) a year or so back but you honestly can’t see which tooth is filled. Recommend him 100%.

I moved to the practise last year and have seen Pedro matos Rito each time. He’s honestly the best dentist I’ve ever had. Gives really sound advice, prescribed me special toothpaste to help prevent decay.I’ve always been a nervous patient (literally cry and shake through an any type of procedure) he was calming and incredibly patient with me! Both him and his nurse (Alina I believe her name is) were incredibly kind and walked me through the whole procedure before I had a filling. If you’re a nervous patient or just want a dentist who is genuinely passionate about his job and teeth, then this is the man for you! I won’t go as far as saying I look forward to my next appointment, but I no longer fear it as much as I did before!

I've just returned to Gillies Dental, as I moved away. I had my first root canal performed by Chris and was very worried about how much it would hurt but I didn't feel a thing. He was so supportive keeping me informed for each step and I felt very comfortable. The receptionists are helpful and friendly and helped make my visit a pleasant one.

My Dentist Chris Green is friendly, thoroughly professional and explains everything in a calm and logical way.

Fantastic service and friendly team. Pedro Matos Rito is a joy to visit and that's saying something as I've never been keen on a trip to the dentist. He is thorough and explains everything clearly. Here's hoping he stays at the practice otherwise I will be trying to track down where he goes 🤣

Just Excellent ! - I have been with them 10 years which is testament to how good they are. What you really want from a dentist is to feel at ease and receive professional treatment. They always offer that, superb dentists with fast appointments and friendly helpful reception staff as well. I fall under the category of "nervous" to say the least, but have never once felt worried about going to Gillies. Just friendly professional people doing a great job !
