Gwynfryn Dental Practice Bangor

Today was my first experience at Gwynfryn Dental Practice Bangor. It is a very nice Dental Practice in a beautiful old Period building, with a beautiful waiting room. The dentist I saw was Joseph. He was very calming, very pleasant and easy going, and he carried out a filling and a professional Air Flow clean on my teeth. He did an absolutely brilliant job on my teeth. They have never felt as clean before. Wonderful. The Dental team were all really nice. I would definitely recommend this Dentist.

I was suffering from toothache and luckily for me the dentist had a free space for an appointment for the next day. As soon as I arrived I was directed to the first floor and waited for my turn. The dentist and assistant were known to me so it was great to be greeted by friendly faces. As soon as the problem was diagnosed the impending procedure was fully explained to me and the dentist extracted the offending tooth. The care and professionalism of the staff involved were as good as expected and I would fully recommend Gwynedd Dental Parctice.

Reception staff is lovely. Practice manager not so much. Had to have a root canal done and don't understand why this has to be done by a visiting dentist (also the practice owner), who then tried to talk me into getting a 3-tooth crown when I only wanted one crown for the affected tooth. Also completely ignored that I have severe Long Covid despite me pointing it out. Felt very uncomfortable. My complaint was ignored. Very money-grabbing. Do not recommend.

James made me feel very at ease when I had to have an extraction. Very professional, friendly and caring. Thank you!

Had such a lovely experience with Laura the hygienist today, and her lovely dental assistant but I didn’t get her name. I was super nervous but they were so lovely and put me right at ease. Never felt such a welcoming and warm atmosphere at a dental practice; I’ve already booked my next appointments. Thanks!

So far I’m happy with the experience I’ve had. I’ve visited Joseph due to problems I’m having with my gums.. I’m a nervous patient, he’s been great with me, reassuring me every step of the way.

There is always a warm welcome from the receptionist, and the waiting area is calming and comfortable. I have my appointments with Joseph; he is friendly and explains what is involved well – it helps reassure me, as I used to be quite a nervous patient. He is really good with my daughter too, and she looks forward to going! I definitely would recommend them to anyone.
