Gentle Dental Practice

(My daughters account) I’ve been a patient at this practice for around eight years and have always received excellent dental care. My dentist, Charlie, is fantastic. He’s professional, gentle, listens to any concerns, and always puts me at ease. Dental appointments can be stressful, but Charlie has a lovely manner and I completely trust him with my treatment. I also wanted to mention the dental nurse who assisted at our recent appointment. My daughter and I both attended together, and she was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and gave us lots of helpful advice about dental care and products. She took the time to answer our questions and made us both feel comfortable throughout the appointment. She was also incredibly generous with samples and recommendations, which was a lovely touch. I made a point of telling reception before I left how impressed I was. Both Charlie and the dental nurse were a credit to the practice, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had there. Had a check up Wednesday with Josh, what a lovely dentist and the dental nurse with him. So thorough, had an xray, needed a descale but life is a bit hard at the moment so he very kindly fitted me in and I had it done then and just for the charge of a check up, couldn't be happier with their service and advice and how kind and understanding they both were with my current situation. My 10 year old had a filling today. I was more nervous than he was. Dr Josh was amazing with him. And the lady he had with him today. Made my boy feel comfortable and made sure all the way through that he was OK. Explained every single step to him. I didnt even feel I was needed in the room with him. Brilliant. Receptionists are always so lovely too.

Amazing staff who go above and beyond. Clear instruction given during every step of treatment. Both dental surgeon and nurse were kind and considerate. There’re all gentle and Gentle Dental…..

Fantastic dental practice. Waiting times are great and the whole team is really friendly and welcoming. I had complete confidence in the options given to me and everything was explained clearly. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Special mention to Dr. Joshua and his dental hygienist Rachel for making what could be a not-so-nice experience feel much better. Highly recommend.

Rang on Monday for emergency appointment and attended the next day to see Dr Josh. I had a very large abscess which had caused a lot of swelling. Dr Josh and the lovely lady that was helping were amazing, they talked me through everything they had to do and even though it wasn’t pleasant they did their best to put me at ease. They extracted the tooth and drained the abscess and even had me back in the next day just to make sure everything was ok. Cudnt recommend enough ☺️

Having been a patient of Gentle Dental for many years and always praised them, however today's experience has left me absolutely shocked. Having had to cancel appointments due to a sudden bereavement and funeral of a close family member, I find that my 16 grandson has now been taken off the books ( without prior notice ). Despite always attending appointments I find this utterly shocking. The Empathy and Compassion of the Practice Manager, was totally Non existent. The actual dentists are excellent however the reception staff need to learn how to deal with patients.
