I have visited this practice three times with my child, who has a dental abscess, and unfortunately my experience has been disappointing overall. The first appointment was good, and the dentist explained that my child needed three fillings while we waited for a community referral. During the second visit, we came back because the abscess flared up again and pus was coming from his gum. We waited more than 30 minutes past our appointment time. When we were finally seen, the dentist did check the abscess, but he did not check all of my child’s teeth to assess whether the decay had worsened. He simply repeated that extractions were needed and told us to keep waiting for community services. This was worrying, considering the ongoing infection and pain. On our third visit, we arrived slightly late and were told we couldn’t be seen. This felt unfair because of the long delays in our previous appointments. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, which I appreciated. Overall, my child still has a dental abscess, and despite multiple visits, we haven’t received a thorough reassessment or clear guidance. I am disappointed with the lack of continuity and care.

Been going for 6 years but service seems to have dropped in quality in the past year since the change. Recent dental appointment was literally 5 minutes (not an exaggeration) but denplan fees have gone up consistently over the years.

I am very pleased with the service I get here. The staff are always polite & professional and I an happy with the dentist treatment. Thank you. 😊 Please note this dental practice has recently changed it's name from Carnegie Dental Clinic.

It’s so refreshing to have finally found a dentist that actually listens to me, going to the dentist is daunting enough but when I arrived for my appointment the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable, I was told in every detail the work I needed done it was broken down so well enough to actually understand where other dentist don’t seem to take the time to explain or walk you through anything, it was reassuring to have had enough information given to me about everything, my questions were answered with great detail, so glad I finally have a great dentist and such affordable prices to.

I was due to have a dental bridge in September, managed to get an appointment in November. After waiting 15 minutes after my appointment time, I sat in the chair for about thirty seconds. The dentist explained she was a locum and therefore she couldn’t do it. The assistant went with me to book another appointment for January as the locum told me that Christmastime would be busy and not an advisable time to book in. Forward to January. The same thing happens. I wait 15 minutes. Thirty seconds in the chair. She tells me the same thing. I remind her this has already happened and I did exactly what she told me to. The assistant apologised but at least this time they made sure to book me in with someone who can actually do the procedure. Insane lack of communication. Waste of time. Massively delayed delivery of care.

Recently had a tricky extraction nd filling done at this dental centre,overall I had a good experience.the extraction was complicated but the dentist was patient nd caring,and explained things clearly.the filling was also done well nd haven't had any issues since.all the staff is very polite nd friendly.I would definitely recommend this dental centre.

Great experience today , staff were really good with my mum who is has Dementia. Also our teeth were good 😊
