The Essex Smile Centre

I had an amazing experience with Dr Crina. I was really nervous about starting treatment because I felt self-conscious about my teeth, but she put me at ease from the start She was really reassuring, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I’m so pleased with the results of my Invisalign, whitening, and composite bonding treatment. It has completely transformed my smile and boosted my confidence. I only wish I’d done it years ago!

I have had composite veneers and They are amazing. Roman and Lily were brilliant and they have done the an excellent job. They were so lovely and really explained everything to me before and after. I travel over 2 hours to get to this dentist, as I was a previous customer here before I moved and I have never wanted to do anywhere else.

I’ve had a very full on journey with the Essex smile centre, starting with a lot of anxiety which was greeted with pure kindness and care from everyone from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the specialists. I’ve spent well over a year with Periodontist Tasnim helping me, a few full on surgeries which have been made so much easier by the kindness and support, and the laughter. She has made a very difficult time feel almost enjoyable. I’m very grateful for the whole practice treating me with such a high level of care and I don’t know if I would have managed it all if everyone wasn’t so friendly, thank you!

I am writing on behalf of my wife Lorraine Foskew who visited the Essex Smile Centre in Rayleigh for the first time in January to see Dr Elena-Crina Senchea for a thorough checkup. Elena-Crina advised on the treatment required and informed of the procedure which would be a removal of a front tooth. Elena-Crina informed me of the options - which I elected for an implant which was later implemented by Deepam Patel. The removal of the tooth, impression and fitment of the provisional denture whilst awaiting the implant - also a root canal treatment on another tooth was implemented by Elena-Crina which were pain free. The treatment received by Elena-Crina was exceptional.

After researching several dentists for my children, who were absolutely petrified of going, we found Roman at Smile Centre — and I honestly cannot recommend him enough. Roman was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with both my children and myself. He has such a calm and reassuring manner and immediately put everyone at ease. What really stood out was how brilliant he was with the children. He took his time, explained everything gently, and completely changed what could have been a very stressful experience into a positive one. The biggest compliment I can give is that my children actually want to return and go and see Roman again, which is a complete turnaround from past experiences. Even after an accident that resulted in a fall and a broken tooth, the first thing said was, "I want to go and see Roman." That alone says everything about the trust and comfort he has built with them, and I know this will put them on such a positive pathway with dental care moving forward. Thank you, Roman, for your professionalism, patience, and genuine care. Highly recommend.

Just finished up my Invisalign treatment with Roman and couldn’t be happier!! Roman and Lilly have been excellent from start to finish, supportive and answering all my questions! All the staff are so friendly and the practice has a really lovely atmosphere, feels immediately calming for someone who used to be really scared of the dentist! Not only had the service been incredible but I am so pleased with my results, can’t stop looking at my teeth! I would 100% recommend Roman and the team to anyone!

Myself and my mother switched from our previous dentist to The Essex Smile Centre and we are so happy that we did. The care has been and continues to be exceptional with the team being incredibly available. I am a very nervous person, especially when it comes to having anaesthetic for dental procedures, however the explanations, the time and space taken and given to me was exceptional to say the least. Every care is also taken afterwards. 💖
