I've been here a few times to see Ms Wintrip - such a fantastic dentist! I avoided going to the dentist for an embarrassing number of years and then didn't want to go because it had been so long! I needn't have worried. She has such a great manner that makes going to the dentist as enjoyable as possible!
Michelle was my dentist today. This is the 1st time I've seen her. She was amazing, she made me feel at ease and as relaxed as anyone can be in the dentists chair when getting a filling. Thank you Michelle
I'd like to give a 5 star review to Mr Wadhwa my dentist. This is my 1st time at this dentist and needed 5-6 appointments, I'm a nervous patient and Mr Wadhwa and his dental nurses helped me so much with my anxiety. Im delighted with the service they provided me and very grateful also to the lovely receptionists. Regards Shirley Robertson
Just been to dentist excellent experience . Reception staff were very nice . Was seen by paramjit on top floor he was really good made me feel at ease explained everything to me .so happy with my treatment I received from him also his nurse was lovely . If anyone out there is nervous. With going to the dentist you really need to come here.
Absolutely appalling service was told I can cancel any appointments booked that I could not make due to work and that all appointments would have a reminder sent out. After not receiving a reminder I have been called and kicked off the dentist with an unfinished root canal. Lady on the reception had a terrible attitude and did not allow me to speak for myself. Similar situation with my mum they kicked her off and withheld her dentures leaving her with no teeth and constant pain. Do not recommend. Just to add, my previous appointment was meant to be to finish my root canal but when I got to my appointment he quickly disregarded the appointment and said it was a check up (which i was not due) and told me they would book another appointment to finish this. No care for patients and very rushed service.
1st visit to Alec Waugh and I am absolutely petrified of the dentist, I was made to feel so at ease, reception staff were lovely and friendly. Dentist Mr E Seoud was lovely, spoke kindly and talked me through everything and I actually didn't feel nervous as I thought and think I will be OK at my next visit. A lovely practice and am pleased I came and will continue with my appointments here. 😊
After reading the response I realized I was not clear. It's true they offered me an appointment for June. When I said "I'm not coming back" was my thought when they made the offer, not what they told me. Even the dentist (who appears to be a very nice person, before that and by her own volition, probably embarrassed or realizing how much this had affected) offered to stay after hours and do the treatment. Very nice of her, I felt it was not right for me to keep her outside her working hours, and my appointment was supposed to be at 14:00 and I had to wait until past 16:00. I didn't have the time to do it, and I prefer a clinic were these things don't happen. The issue with my wife's treatment they claim they can't comment on has nothing private. It was to explain why they stop providing her the same coverage under NHS and if I was in the same position. It is information they sent by email. I guess many patients have received the same message. If there were privacy issues, they should not send that information on an email. They were elusive regarding whether I was on route to receive the same email or not. For me, the response to my first message has not changed anything. And this is my last clarification. I am putting my best effort to describe what I went through and didn't want to leave things to be misinterpreted.
