I had a great experience with my dentist Moazzam and my hygienist Hazel today. They are an amazing team — friendly, welcoming and made me feel really comfortable throughout my appointment. My teeth look great and I’m really happy with the results. Thank you!

I recently had a root canal treatment performed by Thelma, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at ease and took the time to explain the procedure, which helped relieve any anxiety I had. Thelma was professional, gentle, and highly skilled throughout the treatment. What I expected to be a stressful experience turned out to be surprisingly comfortable thanks to her calm and reassuring manner. She regularly checked that I was doing okay and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The root canal was completed smoothly and efficiently, and I experienced far less discomfort than I anticipated. I would highly recommend Thelma to anyone needing dental treatment, especially if you're feeling nervous about a procedure. Thank you for the excellent care and outstanding service!

I moved back to the area recently. I was at a BUPA dentist previously and was happy with it. This practice is another level. Not sure anyone really likes going to the dentist but this particular practice feels a bit special. From the beautifully converted church to the friendly, calm staff I can't fault it. Had an initial consultation which led to seeing the hygienist as a separate appointment, both appointments put me at ease and I got some good impartial advice. The hygienist did a really thorough clean and my teeth/mouth feels the best it ever has. Yes it costs, but its fair for the time and thoroughness Brilliant

The team are generally good however, for the price you pay on their monthly smile plan, you expect a better service. Both dental and hygiene appointments, the person was running late. What made it worse was the hygienist was already 10mins late for my appointment and then started having a conversation in full view of me for a further 5mins, with another colleague about what they were having for tea, the weather and whatever else. No apology or acknowledgment, just crack on as if they hadn't just purposefully delayed me. Cancelled my membership after this, as if they can't be bothered to be on time for me, why should I bother being a customer. The dentist also felt slightly pushy, advising me to get an incorrect type of mouth guard, if it isn't your area of expertise then sometimes it's best not to advise.

Second time seeing amit. What an absolute superstar. So thoughtful and thorough. Never been examined like this before in all my years going to the dentist. First time round was a little nervous after as it was such a change. However he explains everything perfectly well. Gives an early indication of what treatment may be required down the line. That’s good as no surprises. Guys a real gent and a pro.

Having just had the last of my treatment today I can not recommend The Old Church Practice enough.Although extremely professional as you would expect these guys are so friendly and down to earth, Within 6 weeks of treatment they have erased all the fear I had about dentists. From the first appointment to the last Charlotte on reception has been amazing, so friendly and made me feel at ease both with her professionalism and her sense of humour. Thank you Charlotte. Both Brendan and Andrew have been fantastic in dealing with my phobia of dentists.The level of work these guys do is amazing. I can’t thank you guys enough for giving me my smile back. Thank you

Hazel the (brilliant) hygienist, and her assistant were both very professional, thorough, informative and friendly. The receptionist was also friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The setting is a beautiful old church building with original features including stained glass. Every area is immaculately clean. Parking is also good.
