Worst healthcare service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had my braces on for 4 years now so understandably frustrated. There is absolutely zero communication no matter how hard I’ve tried to get in touch with concerns, as they don’t reply to emails or phone calls, different orthodontist every time so no continuation of care, was supposed to be seeing a ‘specialist’ for an extended period of my treatment and turns out they’d been accidentally forgetting to book me any appointments with said specialist, couldn’t recommend less.

I know orthodontist waiting lists and treatment can be problematic, but after finally getting my daughter seen, it's been a big hassle and she is only part way through treatment. Apart from the back and forth and lack of foresight about what was required, and it feeling like a conveyor belt - being handed over to different clinicians through the process - it's ridiculously difficult to arrange appointments. The recorded message is awful - mechanic and impersonal, and actually patronising. I have only ever had the phone answered directly by a real person about twice, and have frequently left messages which have not resulted in a call back, leaving us hanging to arrange appointments, and wasting more time calling to leave more messages (which for me is in my own work time). It's probably easier to drive to the practice than to phone...however, the receptionist is pretty unfriendly and curt when you do attend. I really can't understand why the phone is not answered - when you're there in person, it's never that busy, so can't see why this should be such a problem. Sorry, but based on the customer service alone, I wouldn't recommend, and I'd never run a business this way.

Recieved a letter to book an appointment or after 14 days the referral will be cancelled. I have tried to call this place so many times to book an appointment, but no-one ever answers the phone. Edit, I got a call back the day after leaving this review.

My experience with Halifax orthodontist has been excellent this past year with my braces. The staff are brilliant and do their job to the fullest.
