These guys are amazing. I had my wisdom tooth taken out here last Friday (30/05) and honestly, the service was fantastic from start to finish. I was incredibly nervous as I’d never had sedation or a tooth removed before, but the surgeons and nurses were calming and lovely. They even let me pick the music I wanted during the procedure! Special shoutout to Karen, one of the nurses. A real gem of the NHS. Absolutely hilarious and settled all my nerves and worries before going in. I was in and out within 1 hour and the site is healing well. Don’t be worried if you are referred here from your dentist - they are wonderful.

I had a failed root canal for a painful lower molar, followed by a failed extraction. So far this wretched tooth had cost me £650. My NHS dentist (who has now left) had previously referred me to NHS dental hospital care. I was offered an appointment last week and with great trepidation I attended. The service I received from consultant Mark and his able dental nurses was exemplary. He took the trouble to take a full history of the misery this tooth has caused, did a full (round the head) scan which showed there was indeed infection under the roots. Mark carefully removed the awkward roots within half an hour. He even asked what type of music I would like during the procedure. He took great trouble with stitching my gum, and apart from taking a couple of painkillers that evening, I haven't needed any pain relief at all. I cannot praise this dental centre enough.

This place is amazing if only all dentists were like this one. I know it's an emergency and yes they don't get paid as much as these private dentist but the customer service, the love and kindness they give cause let's be honest no one likes going to the dentist. The after care and the information they give you is brilliant. Thank you so much I hate mouth pain and tooth ache.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my partner received during her emergency dental appointment today. The treatment was not only appalling but also demoralizing. The dentist attempted to fob her off and made such inappropriate remarks that her friend had to step in to ask him to stop. He criticized her personal life and even threatened to withhold treatment if she didn’t listen to him. My partner stated that she has never met someone so rude in her life and has never felt so intimidated by someone who is supposed to be there to help. While I understand there may be a shortage of dentists, this behavior is completely unacceptable. People like this should not be anywhere near patients. I will be taking this further and would not recommend this practice to anyone!!

Wow wow wow!! So 2 years ago a private dentist put a filling on my wisdom tooth.. deep down I knew it didn’t need doing but thought a private dentist wouldn’t lie. It’s never been quite right then last month my tooth really started hurting. Then this week I mentioned it to dentist and he fiddled with it and said it was fine. Then this week I have been in so much pain, to the point I was getting pins and needles in my mouth. It was bad. Out of desperation knowing that my dentist wouldn’t do anything about the wisdom tooth with a filling. I phoned 111 who said that I could be seen at weekend, 9am. I am deaf and I get quite anxious about dentists because I don’t understand sometimes. I walked in and these two lovely women spoken to me, I explained I am deaf and they asked if lip read and I said I do, they spoke so clearly and made sure I understand what was happening. They did a x ray and turns out my wisdom tooth was rotting under the filling, and would I like it taken out. I said yes. The whole procedure was amazing, did not hurt at all. When I had a filling before, that hurt more! What a wonderful team! And well done to nhs dental!!

I had an excellent experience with this service today and felt I must write a review. I was met by professional, calm, skilled and reassuring staff including dentist, dental nurse and another nurse on reception. I had an emergency extraction which didn’t go well and needed surgery. The nurse held my hand almost all the way through! I am very grateful for this NHS service. I hope the staff will receive this compliment. A huge thank you.
