Barnfield Dental Studio

During lockdown my filling came out on a Saturday night. The dentist phoned me to book me in and allowed plenty of time due to Covid restrictions. On arrival I had the usual checks like temperature. I was given a resin filling with no drilling and told it needed 15 minutes drying time before I could have a drink and cake. They said it may last for a year. A few months later the filling broke. I thought about calling back, but didn’t want to spend another £75 on a resin filling that might just break again, so I left it. It felt like they weren’t very interested. I know a few years ago they both had a second baby and were raising money for Bristol Children’s Hospital so the baby could have treatment, which is understandable. But the good dentist and hygienist I used to see have left, and as a patient I didn’t feel like a priority anymore. Recommend: No Value for money: No Would return: No

Great service and treatment from Hygienist and Dentist but a little annoyed as I already pay some £22 per month and last week I had a composite filling which cost £212 GBP and paid for consultation and I think it has come lose and I want to see them again to check up if it was the composite that came loose or cracked due to treatment and they said i would have to pay and additional £55 for another consultation...when surely if it was the composite that came loose or cracked they could have taken a look at it without additional costs, esp given it was the Dentist that drilled tooth and fitted it. Keep in mind it may not be the composite and what if no work was done...Keep in mind I already pay monthly and i have passed good word od mouth about Barnfield Dental practice name around and got someone registered. They offered me appointment Monday but said i had to give 24hr notice before cancelling or pay a £30 charge yet i can't contact them Sunday which isn't my fault as i don't know if any pain cause by sensitivity from treated tooth will have subsided by then. I hope Barnfield Dental can take note of this and maybe be a bit more flexible and understanding...?

Unfortunately a poor experience. Monthly plan appears to give no benefits. Extraction fee of £157 . Ironic as still have tooth left in gums from a previous extraction. Only 2 stars as Fiona Holman is particularly good!!

I had a filling unexpectedly come loose and as a client of Barnfield Dental Studio they were able to quickly arrange an appointment to have it replaced. As ever, the work was completed in a friendly and pain free manner.

Barnfield Dental Surgery is excellent . My dentist Viditi and all the staff have always been so kind supportive and professional. It’s the best Dental Practice I have ever belonged to and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist .

Excellent dental practice. Friendly and very helpful receptionists. Gentle but very thorough hygenists and Ruan is a superb dentist - very calm and knowledgeable. Very happy with all my treatment over the last few years.
