Toothwise - Hurworth Dental Practice

I was referred to Stephen at Toothwise for some cosmetic dental improvements. From the beginning he has been very impressive - to the point I wish I had done this sooner. We firstly went through improvements that I had asked for and he gave several options, including aspects that I hadn't considered that ultimately enhanced the work. All appointments were booked well in advance, and payments broken down across each visit. Staff at Toothwise were all very professional, friendly and helpful. All work carried out was done with minimum fuss and discomfort which made each appointment a breeze without any anxiety. I am so thrilled with the work Stephen has achieved. His skill and attention to detail shows and I am now happy to show my teeth when smiling - a great confidence boost! Thank you to all at Toothwise.

I cannot thank Toothwise Dental enough for the care I received this week. I was in severe pain and discomfort and honestly did not know where to turn. Bev on reception was incredible from the very first phone call. She was kind, calm and genuinely caring, and she managed to get me an emergency appointment when I really needed it most. When I arrived, the whole team made me feel welcome and at ease, which helped a lot given how anxious I was feeling. Emma and her dental nurse were absolutely brilliant. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The extraction itself was far calmer than I expected, and their reassuring manner made a huge difference. What could have been a very stressful experience was handled with such professionalism and compassion. I left feeling relieved and genuinely looked after. From Bev at reception to Emma and her dental nurse in the surgery, the care I received was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Toothwise Dental to anyone who needs a dentist they can truly trust.

I have posted positive reviews before but I am so happy with this surgery . All the receptionists are delightful and Yvonne always smiling and helpful. Steven the manager takes great pride in his practice. I underwent treatment and scale and polish with Emma today and her lovely nurse Olivia and was delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend any nervous patients to join . They are accepting new private patients.

I cannot praise Emma, Olivia & the team at Toothwise Hurworth Dental Practice enough. As a very very anxious patient having had previous bad experiences which led to a real fear, I was dreading seeing a dentist for a problem tooth. However they treat me with dignity, patience & kindness from the minute I walked through the door. I was seen quickly from initial enquiry to all options explained & treatment carried out within a few days.The reassurance given at the first appointment made the treatment the next day much less scary. This has to be the most positive experience I have ever had visiting the dentist so much so I have signed up & will no longer be terrified to visit. Thanks to Yvonne too for helping with the forms. I would highly recommend this professional & friendly practice.

Dr Stephen did my composite bonding and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and made sure everything looked natural, not overdone. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process and the final result exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Until today, I hadn't been to the dentist since 2019 due to being de registered from my last practice during covid. The dentist and dental nurse at Toothwise were both excellent, really happy to have became a patient here. Highly recommend.
