I had my first visit today for an examination with Richard. Everyone was so lovely and I felt very relaxed during the whole appointment. All the team were very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly. Richard carried out a very thorough examination. The practice is lovely and immaculately clean. I could not fault anything! I would 100% recommend the practice 💯😁

I had braces done by Richard around 10 years ago and more recently had composite bonding done by him as well. He’s incredibly thorough and really takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I’ve never had great teeth, but now they look amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The whole team at York Place Dental are fantastic too — always professional, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Delighted with the results of my Invisalign treatment. The team at York Place were really great at explaining the process and managing my expectations. I’m so happy I decided to go for it, it makes me feel so much more confident in my smile and the general health of my teeth!

Massive 'thank you' to my amazing dentist Richard Hellen and the team at York Place Dental in Carlisle. I have hated my front teeth for a long time - they were chipped, discoloured and had never been straight. l felt self conscious and hated having my photo taken. After discussions with Richard about options available to me l decided to have some veneers put onto some of my top teeth - what a transformation! My self esteem has improved greatly and now l feel so much happier and more confident. Moving to York Place Dental was one of the best decisions l have ever made. All the staff there are amazing, the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel at ease. I wouldn't go anywhere else now - l can't recommend them highly enough!!

Absolutely amazing dental clinic! The ladies at the reception are very kind! I came with my son, who is on the spectrum — he never wanted to even open his mouth before. Dr. Ryan is incredible; he handled everything wonderfully, and my son now comes home from school showing that he wants to go back to the "dentist." Thank you so much!
