mydentist, Aglionby, Carlisle

I have recently visited the My dentist in Carlisle, Aglionby street to see the hygienist Ruth Greensmith. From entering the building, I felt welcomed and well looked after. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The care I received from Ruth and Stacey the dental nurse was outstanding. They were skilled and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them both and this practice. Thank you.

Dentist Raheen Fiza Shah was very pleasant, informative and clear, i think I dosed off during a filling and hopefully didn't snore

This practice has cancelled mine and my partners appointments at the very last minute on numerous occasions after he has taken time off work and we've already driven from Penrith. Or they ring asking can we come quicker constantly as they cleary want to pee off home earlier.. most unprofessional dentists ever!! Since they have now gone private, they can't fit you in for 2 year's. So as a thank you for wasting our time and money over the past 5 year's. I found a local dentist who have given us both the treatment we desperately needed and forgot all about this practice. My dentist are a waste of time, what use is a check up every 2 year's and no treatment? What good is that to anyone? Their text to me claims I've cancelled an appointment in the last year.. funny that when I wasn't able to make an appointment and was told 2 year's?? I argued at the point when making the appointment that it was ridiculous and was then given an appointment for just over a year... these jokers want reported, I've only changed appointment once due to sick health and having chronic crohns disease. And that wasn't this last year as they claim, plus they were given plenty of notice and rearranged it. I bet me not coming once to this rubbish practice hasn't hit you in the pocket as much as you have to us!! Bloody cheek of it!!!

Really good experience at my dentist, as good as it can be anyway at the dentists. Very professional but lovely and friendly, immediately put me at my ease. I felt informed all the way and trust in their services completely.

Ashis made my experience at the dentist smooth, talking me through every step of my treatment. I was very nervous to attend, however the end result was worth it.

I do agree with a previous reviewer; the patient privacy aspect at reception is not very subtle - it is a small room and the receptionist calls out "Name" or "Address" through the glass, & you do feel you are announcing your personal details to the whole room! Maybe you could place a small piece of paper/pencil at the desk for patients & indicate it is there if they wish to jot down d.o.b, surname etc. Otherwise, all great & very efficient at Aglionby, love this practice since 2000, wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I have attended this dentist a few times now, and I have had a positive experience each time. I cannot fault them. Thank you
