Bhandal Dental Practice - Barnes Hill

My dentist "ye" is amazing and always provides a top service and is very polite and professional. I’m scared of the dentist but he always makes me feel at ease when i come. His assistant is also quick , helpful.

Can't speak for the other dentists at this practice but the dentist I am with at Barnsehill is very good. He has referred me to the correct departments at the dental hospital. As I'm in a bit of pain around my jaw after an injury.He did me a filling not long ago which has held up well. Usually get an appointment in a week or sooner if any are available. Had the same dentist for around 5 years now, intelligent guy and listens and offers a solution if possible. The main receptionist is on the ball too, easy too book an appointment. Have used other dentists and had bad experiences in the past. But can't fault bhandal barnsehill. Good professional work deserves recognition. Thanks !

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been suffering with sinus issues for three weeks, along with severe tooth pain on the same side. The pain is unbearable. I was given an appointment and waited nearly two weeks, only to be contacted a few days before and told it had been cancelled. I was then informed that the practice is not accepting new patients, despite being told by reception that I have been on their system since September 2025. It was suggested that I am not considered a patient unless a dentist has physically examined my teeth, which makes it completely unacceptable that an appointment was offered at all. Cancelling an appointment at such short notice while a patient is in extreme pain shows a complete lack of care, organisation, and professionalism. This experience was distressing, dismissive, and entirely unacceptable.

Cant thank my new dentist enough, Runaq Shah, always had a morbid fear of dentistry from very bad experiences in my youth (as like most 1950s people) This gentleman is so patient and caring, listens and hears my concerns and together we work through any dental issues I have. His calm manner is much appreciated and he does not belittle me because of my fears. Thoroughly recommend him as a practitioner.

Seems the dreaded room 3 to be pretty daunting! From the sloppy uncaring attitude answering of the phones, to the treatment, well if you could it that, it was a real actual nightmare experience. Noone seems to have any empathy what so ever! No after care advice, no communication with Dr in room 3. Very abrupt with a total lack of any sympathy or human interaction. I would compare the whole experience to be a little like an animal going to slaughter. Frightening like on the back of the lorry waiting to be headed in to oblivion, blind and uncredited, just waiting for the inevitable.

I’m very impressed and thankful for how patient the dentists were with me during my root canal, kept checking if I was okay which I’m grateful for, did a very good job altogether, keep up the good work 👍

Just had a root canal, and I suffer from cptsd and the dentist in room 3 was so amazing with me, and took it slowly with me. The next day had a little issue rung up and she rung me straight back and fitted me in. I couldn't be more happy. X
