Had my first hygienist appt at this surgery with Kirti and Zoe. I suffer with COPD and Kirti made sure that I was comfortable throughout my treatment. Great job done and highly recommend.
Very sad such a good dentist and the staff are lovely but I feel bad that there is only one dentist in the practise. Very efficient, friendly and quick.
Giving 2 stars as they were able to see me, but not a great experience with one of the new dentists. Attended an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth and agreed to a temp filling whilst in the chair to return for a more permanent one, to be told to book my crown in downstairs! I asked the dentist what she meant, as they are different treatments (and Bands), to which the reply was that patients don't understand the terminology and it's easier to say filling! I refused to agree further treatment given the misleading advice. If you do use, please ensure your dentist gives you the right procedure name before you agree, you may expect a filling and receive a crown (and the bill)!
Phoned 111 for emergency dental appointment. Was referred here and advised that either they will ring within 12 hrs or I need to ring them. I waited, no phone call. I tried ringing multiple times, no answer. I would give 0 stars if I can!
Had an appointment booked well in advance for my daughter. In between then and now, the practice has changed hands. Finished work early, pulled my daughter out of school early and headed down for the time slot only to be told by the receptionist, who couldn’t look like she could care less, that they had cancelled our appointment. I’d received a text message only days before to reconfirm this ‘cancelled’ appointment but you can’t argue with "computer says no - cough!" We got the next available appointment though - a month later at 5.45pm. For a 7 year old. Slow clapping for your new practice….
I came in with my son today who really nervous about having a filling . I can not thank the dentist in treatment room 5 enough . She was amazing with him and told him everything she was going to do . Even counted down to when she would finish each part. When he felt sick they helped him and nothing seemed like too much trouble . My son has special needs and he remained calm. Thankyou for making his experience a better one.
Absolutely awful experience. I had to have a filling in November and I have had nothing but trouble since. When I went back Pippa checked my tooth and I nearly hit the roof when she blew the air onto it because of the pain yet she said that was normal! I have been putting up with the pain until 6 weeks ago when it was unbearable and I had to see emergency dentist elsewhere who prescribed antibiotics and said I needed the tooth removed to prevent further infection as the filling had been put in too deep. I called Bupa who told me that may is the earliest date! I now have an abscess but can't get an appointment. 111 say it is urgent that I see a dentist within 48 hours but the dentist say I have to keep ringing each day until there is an appointment which could take weeks
