Standish Dental Practice

First time visiting today. Really nervous patient. Saw Faye. What a lovely human she is. So pleasant and caring. I’ve always dreaded going the dentist. Put it off for years. Back in two weeks for some Work and I’m not even worried. Thank you Faye for being so good with me. Here’s so a positive dental future. Reception staff lovely too. All around a good experience.

I attended Standish Dentist today. My Dentist Lisa Smith worked on my teeth including the removal of a significant molar tooth. She is clearly very knowledgeable in her field of work and took the time to explain everything in a thorough way. She was very empathic and professional throughout. Thankyou

Rude. Seen Holly before and thought she was ok, however this time she was rude. Unsympathetic and couldn’t wait to get me out of the office. If you have a few questions about your dental health/ condition she won’t like it. If you try to exuberate any kind of confidence re: your own well being, she just sees you as a challenging patient. Both girls not very friendly, no social ability. Got me thinking that they just wanted me to shut up/ get out as close to home time. Maybe they have more time for paying patients. Got the feeling, not a nice place to work. Middle aged Receptionist was polite and made me feel a-little better (without knowing) Holly is barely out of nappies. Can’t wait to find another dentist because of her. Just being honest.

I got sent here from the emergency dentist today. I am absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. The young lady i saw was absolutely fabulous. She could see I was frightened and talked me through every step of the way. I needed an extraction and it took a while to persuade me but she also gave me other options and didn't push me into it. I went with the extraction eventually and she didn't rush me at all. I was made to feel at ease and ive never had a good experience like this with a dentist. Thank you for being caring and considerate.

It was a pleasure being to the practice today as I felt everyone was kind and caring. Mentioning from the start when the 2 receptionist Heather and Faye who very kindly explained everything. Next I was seen by the dentist Holly and the nurse Chloe. I can't thank them enough for all their care towards me making sure I was happy with everything. Thanks again and don't forget the great impact you have on people and how you can make the difference.

I have always had a fear of visits to the Dentist. However, since being a patient at Standish Dental Practice I can honestly say my fear is diminishing with each visit. The practice is very clean and has a welcoming feel. The staff are professional and also very friendly and helpful. The treatment and advice from Mrs Nicolette Wilson has been excellent. I would highly recommend.
