My 14-year-old son required two tooth extractions in preparation for having braces fitted next month. When I called to arrange an appointment, I was offered one within 24 hours, which was greatly appreciated. On arrival, the dentist who performed the extractions spoke exceptionally well to my son while also keeping me fully informed as his mother. He was very considerate of my son's age, offered plenty of reassurance and praise, and took the time to ask whether my son would prefer the procedure to be explained step by step or whether he would rather the dentist simply get on with it. This personalised approach made my son feel comfortable and involved throughout. We were extremely happy with the care and professionalism we received and would highly recommend this practice.

Went to this dental practice as a one off due to an emergency. They were so attentive and lovely. Their customer service was outstanding. So knowledgeable and reassuring, and they didn't ever make me feel like I was wasting their time. I would definitely recommend. If they were taking on NHS patients, I'd be tempted to travel the hour round trip each time just to be in their capable hands!!

I was lucky enough to get an NHS space at this dentist about four years ago, and it’s honestly been life-changing. I’m 38 and have always been absolutely terrified of the dentist. From the very first phone call with Sharon on reception, I knew I was in good hands. I’ve had some terrible experiences in the past with both doctors and dentists who didn’t understand neurodivergent profiles. I’ve always needed to be referred for sedation - until now. Since being with Dr Dany Abdulahad at Swalecliffe, I’ve built a level of trust I didn’t think was possible. He has such a calming nature, puts you at ease straight away, listens to your fears, and only ever does what he knows you can manage. He builds trust slowly and respectfully, and because of that I’ve now had procedures I never believed I could tolerate. I couldn’t recommend him more. And I want to make a special mention for Sharon at reception. She is warm, caring, incredibly understanding, and unbelievably efficient. You can tell she keeps everything there running smoothly. She communicates brilliantly, and shows a level of natural customer service that, as a customer service trainer myself, I can tell you is almost impossible to teach. In my eyes this practice is exceptional. I feel genuinely grateful to have found them!

I’m quite new to this practice so was a little nervous on my second visit for a filling. I was greeted warmly at reception seen promptly. The dentist was amazing making sure I was ok. I didn’t feel a thing really caring dentist very reassuring. No pain at all and no after affects. Thank you for taking great care of me.

Just moved to the area and have had two sessions with Alex, the first a check up and todays a mega session to fix a few broken teeth, including one massive filling. Alex was superb, totally professional (along with his assistant) and made you feel as comfortable as possible. Everyone there including the reception ladies have been top class. Very pleased indeed.

I attended as an emergency and was seen promptly. Lovely polite and helpful staff. The dentist (Dr Alex) was really reassuring and as I am a nervous patient I appreciated the the time he took to explain everything.

I am Denise, wife of Robert and it was me being seen with regard to this review. I have been attending the Swalecliffe Dental Surgery for some 10 years and have always felt extremely welcome and comfortable. My dentist Shamir has a very reassuring presence, listens very carefully to what you have to say and is very clear and lucid in his explanations. I feel very fortunate to have him as my dentist. Equally, his assistant Sue is most courteous and helpful and the receptionist Sharon is always cheerful and prepared to fit you in wherever she can.
