Marine Avenue Dental Practice

Really lovely practice. I used to come here as a child and joined a different one when I moved to another area. When I changed back a few years ago there was a waiting list but I did end up getting a place for me and my daughter. Our dentist is the NHS dentist and she is lovely and really fantastic with children (my 3 year old was nervous today and when she left she said she had fun at the dentist! Perfect!). The other staff we came across were fab too.

The people in this practice and especially the orthodontist are so helpful. We arrived in the UK from the Netherlands and my son had a problem with his braces. We called this practice and they were immediately willing to help. We could come immediately and the orthodontist fixed the braces. We would certainly go back there again.

I registered with this Dental practice when we moved to Whitley Bay in February 2023. The receptionist told me the waiting list was approximately 3months. I called in this afternoon to find out if I was still on the list, and was informed the waiting list had been closed as there was only one NHS dentist who worked 2 days a week. As a common courtesy, it would have been nice to have been informed with a telephone call that this was now the case, but obviously this was too much trouble. I also note that, unlike most Dental Surgeries these days, there are no evening or Saturday morning appointments available here. So I will be sticking with my current NHS dentist, although it means a short drive, and will not darken your door again.

Outstanding service today from Hygienist Cath, Dentist Stuart, and two lovely Dental Nurses - Hanna and Helga. Highly recommended, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Marine Avenue Dental Practice.

I have been frequenting Marine Avenue dentists for a few years now and have never felt more relaxed, they are friendly, welcoming and have always looked after my oral hygiene so well, I would highly recommend them as I have done with family

How totally rude. I called in to ask if they had a dental hygienist and was instantly told that there wouldn’t be any availability. When pushed was told that they have one but there was no availability… I clearly looked wrong in my work clothes for the receptionist who was totally dismissive. In fact I am a private client who needs thousands of pounds of work doing… but won’t be going there.

Excellent dental practice. Stuart and other staff all friendly and give high quality treatment.
