My experience of mydentist Portland Road Wyke Regis is excellent the waiting room and reception area is spotlessly clean and very welcoming the receptionists are very smart and acknowledge your presence as soon as you come through the door seen on your appointment time the dental nurse calls you in who are always very pleasant and Alina the lady l have been seeing for some years now is very pleasant and very professional l feel like lm in very good hands as Alina as my dentist well done thankyou from a very satisfied patient. ×

The dentist I saw was very nice, happy to talk me through my X-rays. Initially booked for a consult with the dentist and a hygienist appointment but on the day found they had only booked the consult. I’d also been misquoted the price of a first hygienist appointment. I paid in full over the phone for my consultation. I needed to reschedule my appointment the day before but was told there would be a charge of £50 which seems unreasonable as I’ve already paid upfront. Atmosphere at the clinic wasn’t particularly welcoming. Found reception to be a little cold and unhelpful. When I asked about their dental plan they asked me to look online. Overall my experience was okay but not great.

Avoid This Clinic if You’re a Private Patient I had an extremely disappointing experience with this dental clinic. My dental bridge fell out, which is an urgent issue, so I called on Friday, 21st March to book an emergency appointment. The receptionist assured me she had all my details and that I would receive a call back on Tuesday, 25th March. However, when I followed up on Tuesday, the receptionist seemed completely unaware of my situation. She had no record of my previous call and only offered me an appointment for 4th April – nearly two weeks later! This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially for urgent dental issues. It’s clear that the reception staff lack the knowledge and understanding of dental emergencies. If you are a private patient, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for treatment. Only consider this clinic if you are an NHS patient, as private patients do not seem to be prioritized. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer service and professionalism – sadly, this clinic fails on both counts. Not recommended at all. Kind regards,

Amazing dentist. Alina is calming ,professional and really experienced. She put my nerves at ease throughout my procedure. Her dental assistant was amazing too.

I have been having regular visits to the hygienist and it's been hugely successful! She is gentle, knowledgeable and genuinely focused in providing the patient with a first class service. Highly recommended.

As soon as I contacted them with my concern, the reception staff were helpful and informative. The dental treatment I received was excellent. My one and only criticism is not aimed at this practise. I paid for private health care as I could not get an NHS dentist. (Even though I pay for NHS care through my taxes, so I am paying twice)As I was struck off the NHS waiting list because I hadn't sought dental care in the last 2 years. As previously stated, this practise was excellent, but...will the government give me a refund on the NHS treatment I paid for but am not allowed to access?
